Entrance very uninviting not like your staying in a hotel. No name on the entrance so took a while to work out where we were staying. You can be put in 1 of 3 blocks so you don’t know what you’re getting until you arrive. Room was clean and tidy but very warm and we couldn’t get the aircon to work. If you have trouble with stairs this is not a place for you. No lift and our room was in the top floor.

Having read the reviews on here I was prepared for the worst, but my stay was actually very good. I had room 104 across the road from main reception, between the two pubs. I experienced no noise (it was midweek), the air conditioning was quiet and effective and the room was clean. Access to Thameslink and the Tube are 10 minutes away. Perfect for a cheap budget business trip when prices in central London were astronomical. I would definitely stay here again.

Disjointed Setup and Poor Service – Disappointing Stay The setup at this Nox hotel is quite bizarre. Reception is in one building that’s currently a building site, and the actual rooms are located in two completely separate buildings further down the road. One of these buildings is nearly impossible to find—there’s no signage whatsoever, which is frustrating after a long journey. Receptionist Oksana, whom I’ve unfortunately encountered multiple times between the Belsize Park and West Hampstead locations, is consistently cold and unwelcoming. She gives the distinct impression that you’re interrupting her day, with the same disinterested expressions every time. On my most recent check-in, their key card machine was broken, which caused a 20-minute delay. I was told to go to the room and use the spare key, only to find there wasn’t one. So I had to drag my luggage all the way back to the makeshift reception—beyond inconvenient. The rooms themselves are decent, equipped with a small kitchenette and microwave, which is a plus. However, avoid Room 206 at all costs. The mattress is lumpy and uncomfortable—not up to Nox’s usual standard—and the room backs onto a loud beer garden. On a warm night, the noise is unbearable. Definitely bring earplugs. Overall, while the rooms can be fine, the lack of signage, poor service, and chaotic reception experience make this location one to skip.

Nox west Hampstead has few properties in this area. You have to check in at one location, but will be offered a room in another building nearby. We were accommodated at 198. Third floor room was excellently clean. Bed was comfortable. Big window, room facing back garden as we requested a quiet room. We enjoyed the two day stay!

The receptionist and the cleaning staff were very friendly and kind. The room was clean and well stocked. There are two sets of windows, which was definitely a positive as the room was on the main Street, but we had no problem with the noise, even though there's a pub just below. The only difficulties were that the room is a little stuffy, and although there's an aircon it makes a LOT of noise. I would also like to suggest that there be some sort of protection put on the corners of the bedside tables. I was staying in a family room with my 2 children, and they both managed to hit their heads against the bedside tables, one while trying to fall asleep and the other in their sleep. Both had bumps to show for it. The bedside tables and the beds are at the same level and so it does seem to make for an easy accident. Thank you

Very good hotel, room had plenty of amenities if you require a fridge microwave etc, loverly and clean 4 stops to Wemberly off the tube, tube station is 5 to 7 minute walk in a nice trendy location plenty of food and bars around. Would define use again if going to Wembley.

I stayed at the Nox West Hampstead a couple of weeks ago and need to express my concerns over the quality of the room in comparison to how they advertise it. I stayed there as it was all that was available for that night and as I have stayed at Waterloo and Kensington before and had pleasant stays in both. West Hampstead is not as advertised and was a really disappointing room/stay. It is extremely dated and in need of some major TLC. It was a very basic room in terms of furnishings, the only good / modern thing to note was the bathroom, although difficult to get the shower to a non-scolding temperature. The photographs they show on their website for this site are nothing like the room itself. The lamp shades were both broken, the upholstery on the bed falling away. The cracks and visible mould around the window were apparent and some moulding around the skirting boards as pictured in the attached. The bed and pillows could also do with an update! The fridge kept me awake most of the night with its loud noise. For £105 I was really disappointed especially as when I stayed at Nox Waterloo this room was under £100, extremely comfortable modern and was exactly as pictured on their website.

Excellent value for money. Well appointed, everything you need is provided in this small but perfectly thought out space. Even space for cooking your own meals if wanted. Exactly why we needed in this nice part of London. Will definitely visit again.

The rooms are etxremely noisy because of the pubs (and live music) downstairs. Imposisble to sleep before they close. I am very much surpised that this was not mention in other reviews... Room renovated, clean, small bed (140*190) for modern standards
