Dirty room, bathroom absolutely unacceptable even for free. Never ever in my life! Better to sleep outside in a park! The manager was like a robot. “It is not my fault”, “I’ll report to my supervisor”….nothing changed and even if they tried to clean the bathroom, they didn’t succeed and they try to persuade me that it is because of the silicon…never ever in my life!

I have just returned from staying at 146 studios & am a regular guest. I really havn't had a problem except noisy guests sometimes. I was surprised to read so many negative comments , such as dirty bed linen, bed bugs (hhmmm i think i may have struck that problem previously). I was not impressed though by the generic reply to ALL of the negative comments by the manager

I think I was unlucky with the room I was allocated. I booked a double room but was put into a three bed studio. Unfortunately the room was on the inside was of the building and had two small windows both facing air con units and a brick wall. It made the room very dark and slightly claustrophobic. The bathroom was very small and appeared clean but had an unpleasant odour coming up through the sink and shower drains. The WI-FI was quite patchy. On the plus sides; the room was relatively quiet., the TV worked and it is in a great location.

We we arrived at the apartments we were initially given the wrong room and we were made to carry our bags up four flights of stairs then we were moved to the building next door. The front door was insecure and didn’t lock properly even over night. Everytime we used the bathroom in our room it made the room smell like egg which was really strong and over powering we presumed that this was the pipes as we were really low down. The room was not very clean, the bedding and towels had fluff and hairs on and there was dust and dirt around the room on the surfaces. The windows were single pane and not sturdy it didn’t scream security at all. The blinds were difficult to close and there was mould on the walls. The bathroom was a nice size but again could have done with a proper clean on the shower. The walls are very thin so if someone is moving around in the hall you can hear them speaking/walking. The location was really good close to Baker Street Station but the overall cleanliness and security of this accommodation lets it down for the price it costs- I would not return.

Absolutely terrible service from the hotel/ management team. I was due to check in Friday night. They say they are forthright about this 9pm rule but it does not say any where that if you arrive after 9pm you cannot access the hotel at all. We had a delayed flight so arrived slightly late. We got to the hotel at 9:10pm and could not access the hotel. No emergency contacts/ management staff. I find it to be an absolutely baffling rule, especially in central London on a Friday night. We called and called but could not get through so had to book another hotel that night. It begs the question what would happen if there was an emergency in the hotel with no staff/ contact number?? Honestly seems negligent. I have just rang the hotel to get a refund. Staff member was completely uninterested and lied constantly. He said there are no management to take my call but then asked me if I wanted to email the management about my complaint hahaha. These lot haven't got a clue how to run a hotel/ business. I would highly, highly, highly recommend going elsewhere.

We had the disappointment and regret of sleeping on used and very very dirty bedding. You can see on the attached photographs the numerous stains on the mattress and sheets, as well as the hair. It really wasn't a pleasure to sleep in such conditions. Matelas et draps tachés, vieux, usagés, non lavés, avec présence de poils et de cheveux.

I was looking forward to staying in this hotel and my trip to London. Unfortunately due to recent rail strikes my train was cancelled and I had to rebook on another train. Unfortunately this meant that I would be 15 minutes late arriving at the hotel as checking finishes at 9pm. I rang them to see if they could help. No customer service at all, they couldn't help me so I had to cancel. I booked and cancelled within a few hours but because I hadn't taken out insurance they took the full amount. They said it wasn't their fault there was a rail strike but neither was it mine. If booking with this hotel PLEASE make sure you can arrive before 9pm or else you can't check in. 😪

Despite negative reviews on this website, my stay at this place was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and the location was perfect. Highly recommended.

Fantastic little place to stay. Perfectly located for tube into central London. Quiet and clean - friendly staff who were really helpful. The room had a kitchenette and coffee machine which was a real bonus. So much cheaper than bigger hotels - I’d definitely use again on a short break to London. The location is nice - even coming back after 9pm the area was quiet.
