Mayfair Residences

The host proved to be completely unreliable. When we initially booked our room, we were saw photos showcasing a well-appointed space. However, the reality fell far short of our expectations. When we attempted to confirm our booking with the host, they assured us that the room we had booked was indeed the one in the photos. However, upon closer inspection, we realized that there was a glaring discrepancy – there was no second bed, despite the room information clearly depicting one. When we brought this to the attention of the host, their excuse was truly baffling. Apparently, they had recently refurbished the room and had yet to update the photos.

The place is located near Green Park station so it's easy to get to London Tube. The room is large enough for 3 persons and surprisingly warm enough without heater. It even quite hot and made me need to open the window during London's winter. As I got room 7 in the top floor, it has a balcony but London's weather was not good enough at that time to enjoy. It has small stove and kitchen utensils. Next to the place and around there were small cafes, restaurants, Tesco and M&S food. Now, the unpleasant part. this place doesn't have lift facility and the stairs is very small and narrow so if you bring a lot of luggage and got top floor, then good luck.

Nous avons hérité de la chambre en sous sol avec vue sur un mur d une cour anglaise. C était très oppressant. Chambre surchauffée impossible de régler le thermosta. Pas de TV. Moisissures. Isolation acoustique inexistante, on entendait les Pas de la personne vivant au dessus. Le moteur de climatisation juste en face de la fenêtre s allumait par intermittence toute la nuit. Nous avons décidé de changer d hôtel au bout de nuit et l hôte n à pas fait de geste commercial. Les photos de l annonce montraient un autre appartement de l immeuble. Je vous déconseille cet location.

We hadden een 4 persoons kamer, was netjes alleen jammer dat er aan 1 kant geen gordijn voor het raam hing, wel gevraagd niet gekregen daarom dus zelf maar vuilniszakken op het raam geplakt. Verder netjes met koffie/thee faciliteiten en airco. Niet geschikt voor mindervaliden. Een goed positief punt is dat je letterlijk in het centrum zit. Voor een ontbijt was er in de buurt veel keuze aan broodjes/ ontbijtzaken.
