We recently stayed at Picaddle Resorts & Spa in Lonavala, having enjoyed a positive experience during a previous visit a year ago where 10 rooms were booked (bulk booking). Unfortunately, our recent stay fell significantly short of our expectations. 3 rooms were booked in my wife's name siddhi. Firstly, we encountered difficulties in contacting the property. The phone numbers listed on Google and their website were either incorrect or unreachable despite multiple attempts. Secondly, our requests for a higher floor room and early check-in for one room (due to a senior citizen in our group) were not accommodated at the time of arrival despite being communicated in advance. Furthermore, the quality of service was inconsistent. The deluxe room had a cracked washbasin, which was reported to the staff but not addressed. The executive room was assigned on the ground floor next to the reception, despite our preference for a different location (which staff again denied that such request was made). When we raised these concerns with the General Manager, Mr. Nikhil Parab, his response was dismissive and lacked empathy. He stated that room allocations are random and that no alternative arrangements could be made due to full occupancy. This lack of customer focus and proactive problem-solving is deeply concerning. While our previous experience at Picaddle was positive, our recent stay has left us extremely disappointed. We strongly advise future guests to exercise caution when considering this property.
