We stayed 1 night as visiting the area. The car park entrance was tight as informed; however it’s gated from 11pm which keeps your vehicle safe. Our room (7) was comfortable. It was on the front and as we keep windows open was noisy with the traffic. Reception staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was cooked to order with fresh ingredients, so much nicer than help yourself buffet. Staff at breakfast were helpful and attentive. The bar area during the evening was quiet. I would stay here again but would request a back room.

I stay in various places for work, and i really like the Spillman, and compared to other 4 star hotels, i think it has something a bit special! The hotel is located right in town, the rooms were impeccably clean (even things like remotes and phones which most big chains do not even bother with). The shower was great, the bed was comfy, ans the curtains are great at making the room dark. They even supplied a fan. There were lots of great things about the Spilman, but my personal favorite part, is the service and the breakfast. Breakfast was included my stay and is made to order so no rubbery eggs and incredible buttered toast. The ladies on receotion were so helpful and lovely. I would stay here again! The carpark is a bit tight to get in to, but there are also long stay car parks really near by if you arent a confident driver. Thanks Spilman!

I booked 2 double rooms in the Spilman Hotel for my husband and I and my father and stepmum for us all to attend my graduation at the University of Wales Trinity St David in July 2024. We were all very impressed with the Spilman Hotel. The rooms were very spacious, beautifully (newly) decorated, spotlessly clean, the shower was awesome and breakfast amazing with lots of choice. The hotel truly was a find and great value for money. Thank you!

If this isn't the best hotel in Carmarthen I'd like to see the better one. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with a fridge and sensibly arranged useful furniture. The staff are helpful and efficient, there are also some excellent restaurants nearby. Once we had navigated the narrow access to the car park the rest of the stay was delightful.

What a fabulous hotel this is.l was in room 11 in the courtyard,it was great.Staff so friendly and polite.l only use skimmed milk and the hotel only had whole milk.The next day l was supplied with skimmed milk and every day after at breakfast.l can recommend this hotel to anyone.A short walk and you are in the shopping area.The photos were taken on my mobile.

Just spent 3 nights at the Spilman as my son was involved in a show in the nearby Theatre. What a lovely hotel. Very close to all amenities, rooms were clean and well presented, and the staff were excellent….and the breakfast 👌🏼 to die for!! Would recommend 100%. I will be going back.

Nice small hotel with friendly staff. The room was standard size and superbly finished. The bathroom was spacious and fitted to a high standard. Breakfast service was fast and good quality. The car park is not for the feint hearted but if you follow the guidance it is fine. I would happily stay again. Thank you.

Room immaculate in every way, spotlessly clean, well equipped, warm and welcoming, tastefully decorated, very comfortable bed. Excellent shower, soft towels. Wide range of superb breakfast options, including delicious freshly cooked individual choices. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and extremely attentive, helpful and efficient. Secure private car park though its narrow entrance needed a bit of care. Splendidly located for Carmarthen's town centre and also for visiting the sights, attractions and amenities of the wider region. We have stayed at the Spilman many times over the last 15 years and intend to continue to do so. In our opinion this family owned hotel is outstanding and we highly recommend it.

This amazing place was Spotlessly clean Very stylish the people there couldn't do enough for you bed was really comfortable breakfast was the best cooked breakfast ever cooked to perfection Will definitely be back truly an amazing experience
