Whitehouse Hotel

The location is very good close to the beach but very dirty and unhygienic rooms especially shower. The carpet was dump, windows very dirty, the bedding was no fresh and we’re not changed throughout our 5 day trip. No towels were provided. l loved the location but l definitely would not go back to this same hotel

Avoid Avoid Avoid at all costs!!! Booked a week before arrival, was told at property come back at 4pm reception is open at 4-6pm and 8:30-10-30am, we tried to check in and we’re told to wait outside while he checked the other guests in because our booking wasn’t in his system despite me showing a confirmation screenshot to him, we were out in a room which had been taken off the available list (and now we know why) Window didn’t shut properly, Sink no plug Hot tap didn’t move/work and no plug in sink, light above didn’t work, toilet seat dangerous and held on with 1 screw so not usable, shower cold water only and when I went to have shower got call to say switch off I shouldn’t use the shower as it’s leaking into room below, so no washing facilities, tv kept going off, 1bed cracked and squeaked every time you moved, other bed lumpy mattress well past it’s best and springs in bed went so low I couldn’t get out of it, the lift doesn’t go to any floor with rooms you still have to go up or down at least 8 steps, no fire or emergency instructions other than don’t use lift, pictures on website must be at least 10/15 years old, they do not do evening meals as advertised or entertainment and do not answer phone or reply to messages, we paid for 2 night plus dog £112 in total, total rip off merchants room was not fit for purpose!!!
