External traffic noise was horrendous, we had a rooms at the front (main access road into Figueres) and a room at the rear of the hotel (bypass road that every one uses - built of cobble section). For a quality very disappointed would not recommend.

This hotel is well located off AP-7 on road N-II. It is apparently rated 4 stars but do not deserve it since it requires some adjustment on the decoration, mainly the lobby and the rooms (at least ours). Welcome was friendly. The room was large as well as the bathroom. Everything was clean. The whole window structure needs to be changes. Overall there is too much of wood use (doors, windows, etc.) We had a good sleep night. Before we had dinner at the restaurant and the food/wine/service were excellent with cheese and dessert carts brought at the table. I would rate this hotel a good 3 stars. The owner should invest in some refurbishing.

C'est un hôtel sans prétentions mais propret et confortable. Pas d'ascenseur ni de télé française. Mais rapport qualité prix à toutes épreuves Déjeuner copieux à la mode catalane et restaurant du même tonneau Génial pour 2 ou 3 jours dépaysant

In kamer 113 werkt de airco niet Geen zender BVN Je moet in het bad staan om te douchen Goed bed, schone kamer. Goede verlichting. Goede ligging. In minder dan een half uur ben je in het centrum of bij het Dali Museum. Het diner is ovedreven duur. Ga in de stad eten dat is goedkoper en beter. Als je het ontbijt niet hebt bijbesteld is het een merkwaardige onderneming. Dan moet je alles bijbetalen, ook de jus d'orange ook al zeggen ze bij de receptie dat het ontbijt €12,40 kost en je keuze hebt uit allerlei producten. Je wordt bediend! En één kopje koffie is inbegrepen Het t****e kopje moet je betalen. Héél merkwaardig!

Un lugar delicioso para celebrar una comida de cumpleaños... bien, para celebrar cualquier cosa ;-) Desde su fundación, en 1961, el Hotel Empordà, conocido popularmente como el "Mòtel", es referencia de la alta cocina catalana. Degustar su cocina resulta imprescinible.

Realmente no es un Hotel de 4 estrellas!! Es un local antiguo, bien cuidado, muy muy limpio y cómodo!! Punto fuerte parking gratuito y a tan solo 3 minutos del centro de FIGUERES. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, pero muy sencillas y el baño reformado.

Das Beste am Hotel Emporda war, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren. Damit wäre eigentlich schon alles gesagt - aber um es zu detaillieren: Es handelt sich um ein abgenutztes in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel das allerhöchstens zwei der angeblichen vier Sterne verdient. Pro: kostenloser Parkplatz, Aufzug, kleiner Kühlschrank, bis auf die Krabbeltiere sauber Kontra: Lage an einer Ausfallstraße mit entsprechendem Verkehr, alles sehr dunkel, Mini Fernseher, abgewohnte Zimmer ohne jegliche Dekoration, durchgelegene Matratzen, das erste Zimmer (101) welches wir bekamen war voller kleiner Spinnen und Moskitos, im zweiten (206) gab es dann wenigstens keine Spinnen... Dafür funktionierte der sogenannte "Jacuzi" - eine alte Whirlpoolwanne - nicht. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht vernünftig regulieren und blies direkt aufs Bett - egal wie man sie einstellte - so dass man sie nachts ausschalten musste wenn man sich nicht erkälten wollte. Wir haben sehr schlecht geschlafen und uns nicht im geringsten wohlgefühlt - definitiv nicht empfehlenswert.

El hotel es muy práctico y cómodo. La habitación es amplia y el balcón transmite paz que era lo que buscábamos. El personal es excelente en el trato. El problema principal es el ruido: gente silbando y cantando por los pasillos a horas intempestivas, vecinos dando portazos y entrando en el jacuzzi a media noche, vibración de teléfonos en habitaciones contiguas y niños gritones abriendo y cerrando armarios sin que los adultos les digan nada, y un amplio abanico de ruidos de gente que habla y corre durante toda la noche. No pudimos dormir en toda la noche, es cierto, pero la amabilidad y petición de disculpas del personal cuando lo supo permiten ver la experiencia de un modo menos amargo. El desayuno nos decepcionó un poco considerando la excelente cocina que tienen en horario de comidas pero cumplió con su propósito de recuperar fuerzas tras la noche sin dormir.

Hotel correcto, es de los años 60/70 se nota en sus instalaciones, la habitación es correcta, la cama está muy bien (de lo mejor de la habitación) el aseo también, cuenta con amenidades por si las necesitas, secador de pelo etc. Importante, para cenar, la cocina abre a las 20.00 y cierra a las 21.30. El desayuno es de calidad, ojo no es buffet, te entregan una carta y eliges tres opciones de la carta, reitero todo de gran calidad. Tiene parking exterior y está relativamente cerca del centro y del museo del gran Salvador Dalí
