Hotel Amerikan

Great location for skiing, the pists is just behind the hotel. Great skiing area. A lot of space in the room, we had room 72, which was across the road from the main hotel. Our room included 2 bed rooms, kitchen, a small room for our skiing equipment, and a bathroom. The room was a bit old. Good cleaning service every day. Our stay was with breakfast and dinner every day. Great food with good variation in the restaurant, and our waiter for the week, Victor - he was fantastic and very service minded. We will come back another time, thanks

We stayed for a skiing holiday - sadly snow was poor but having the hotel facilities helped to ease it! We had the dinner bed and breakfast package. Meals Breakfast was great - very varied and plentiful - often a queue at the coffee machine. Dinner - a bit hit and miss according to taste but good quality food served Service was always good - although had to ask our waiter to slow down as courses were arriving before the previous one was finished!! Rooms We had a superior double which was not quite as expected based on the pictures. It was comfortable and met our needs. I thought there would be more toiletries as it’s a spa hotel. Cleaning and replenishment was a little hit and miss. The temperature gauge did not seem to work so at night it was often hot. Bar Very nice bar with good prices and great service. Spa Fabulous place to end the day although one day a noisy child was in there which I don’t think should be allowed. The hotel has good ski lockers facilities and parking. The service overall was efficient and friendly. One watch out is the hotel is a way out of town. It is close to a ski lift but due to poor conditions it did not link as it should to the main bubble so a walk to the lift’s was required. Busses stop at 8pm so if you want to go to town it’s a bit of a walk or a taxi. Having said all of the above we still recommend.

This is my second stay at this hotel. The hotel is just perfect in so many ways. Good location, and close to the Carosello. The pub serves a great variety of drinks n beverages. The pizza is to die for. We ate a 3 course dinner every evening. Such great straff, and the food was no more than amazing. Great cuisine 👌 We're defintely coming back to stay

Absolute wonderful and modern hotel. Amazing service and a great pool and spa. We went for the skiing and it is right next to a small slope. Busses will take you around easily and the fair is included in the ski pass. Food in the restaurant is great and plenty in the all inclusive setup, and the wine card is really fairly priced with many good wines to choose from. Be careful about renting rooms in the annex or houses next to the hotel, it is not the same standard as the hotel. We will come back!

We loved this hotel. The food is delicious, the rooms are clean and the staff are warm and friendly. The spa area was our favourite bit. We loved spending a few hours there after a hard days skiing. We will return.

We ate at the hotel restaurant on two occasions during a family ski holiday over New Year's. My husband commented that it was the best pizza he had ever tasted! Very friendly waiting staff and the service was great. Helpful staff at the hotel reception also who were able to answer our questions about the local amenities.
