Host & Stay - Fleet Nightlife

The property condition was absolutely appalling. There was black mould in every room, heavily stained carpets, damp bed linen, stained couches, stained bean bags to name a few. There was also no hot water on 2 of the 3 morning of our stay which caused severe disruptions to our group of 13 woman’s plans. The fan or hair dryer provided also did not work. There was a prominent sewage smell for the duration of our stay also. It’s incredibly noisy also which we were expecting but along with the other issues made the stay even worse!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Fire alarm went off from 3.15am-5.15am and no one cared to answer their emergency contact! It took a member of our group to contact multiple people to get it turned off. After our efforts of getting it silenced we then returned from our trip to be told we have been charged for setting the alarm off!!! We were a group of women aged 30-83 who were ALL in bed asleep when the alarm sounded. During our efforts to have it silenced we were told by a lad by the front door that he set it off by mistake, yet the company didn’t care to investigate it. It appears the alarm sounds often and the company will charge everyone staying in the building, regardless of it having anything to do with you or not. Unless you want to be charged £500 for something you didn’t do, I’d avoid.

Unless you intend to stay out clubbing until 4am, this is not the place for you. The noise is horrendous Stayed on the ground floor and it was as though folks on the street were in the room with you. Music vibrating through the bed until 4am then the bin men come emptying bottles from the bars from 6 am. Had 5 hours sleep over a 2 night stay (not by choice)

Unless you plan to party all night stay clear. Although in a prime location the nose levels was awful. Even after nightclubs had closed between car alarm and people shouting you couldn't have slept. The living area was just ok, we had a hen and the seating wasn't great. My advice spend and extra few pound and get somewhere better.

Was due to stay for 2 nights to celebrate my sisters birthday. It is slap bang in the centre of a wild party atmosphere. On arrival everything was clean but basic but we were happy. We later found that we had no hot water however a plumber was sent the following morning, I'm not sure if this was fixed as I didn't stay to find out. I returned home around 1am to a room that was brighter now than had been all day. There are floodlights attached to the building opposite that shine right into the apartment windows and the noise level was VERY loud until around 4am. These things I sort of expect with a party central apartment and I did have eye mask and ear plugs. What i did not bargain for was the room above tampering with their smoke detectors and smoking which resulted in the fire alarms going off from 3.30am. The whole building was evacuated whilst the emergency services checked the building was safe. Again this wouldn't be too horrendous if we could get back to sleep but no one, including the fire services, could get in touch with the building manager to disable the alarm eventhough there was an emergency contact number. We were left to attempt to go back to bed with the fire alarm blaring out until 9am when we could get hold of somebody! Not only that the fire officer told us it wasn't safe to enter as we weren't protected should a new fire start. We had no choice and were basically left to fend for ourselves. It was one of the most torcherous evenings I have ever experienced and I will never be returning. 1/5 is actually too kind in my opinion.
