Absolutely beautiful hotel, clean and friendly beautiful surroundings with the added bonus of seeing a beautiful herd of deer roaming through the grounds. Beds could be a little more comfy but thats personal preference.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a picturesque location. Staff are all fantastic. Rooms are a great size and everything is very clean and nicely decorated. Only negatives, and sadly they’re rather big negatives. The beds in this place are so firm I was waking up with awful back pain and stiffness each day. And lastly the bathrooms and bath are just so slippy with no bath mat or textured bath for getting out. I slipped getting out on the first night and was paranoid the remaining showers I had. Also the showers have poor pressure and switch to cold or just change to tap instead quite frequently so I never felt properly all over clean there. Real shame as it’s so nice staying away from the city and the location and building generally are like a fairy tale location.

Great hotel, handy for the NEC in my case. The room was a good size and nicely decorated, great bed and pillows. Bathroom was a bit dated and the shower head mounted far too low. I had to assume a stooping position to get under (I’m 5’10”) Dinner was decent but prices are optimistic to say the least. £29 for a lamb burger .. what!! Basic food in basic surroundings and average service. The prices do not reflect this. Breakfast was fantastic with an impressive array of choices.

Property looks gorgeous, we'll book again for a longer stay in the Summer, and enjoy the facilities. The view from our room was of the car park, very disappointing. Staff in the Dining room took ages to take our order, although it may have been because they were new.

Lovely hotel, virtually faultless except for the food cost and then the sneaky 12.5% service charge, for someone to bring the food to the table was a bit steep. Cheese and bacon burger £19… ‘peri peri spatchcock baby chicken £30 and it wasn’t very peri at all, a hill of £55 after tax and service charge for the two meals mentioned, let down an otherwise lovely hotel stay. Golf course looked fairly good too.

Myself and some friends had booked to go to an event at the works resorts arena so we wanted a hotel close by. This hotel was perfect and the cost was extremely reasonable which included use of the spa facilities inc. breakfast, which was really good with lots of food options. Would definitely book again if we were visiting the area

happy with the stay. staff were helpful. the trip was too short. I'd love to stay again next year.
