Sublime Lisboa

We had a great stay here with friends, a gorgeous room on the top floor with great amenities available including gym and pool nearby. The hotel team from reception to the bar were all great and gave us perfect recommendations for restaurants and things to do…. It was home from home.

The Sublime Lisbon epitomises what it is to be a great city hotel. Not only do the staff recognise you, make constructive suggestions, pre-empt your next request and make you feel at home, but they also go the extra mile in ensuring that anything you aren’t happy with is fixed as soon as possible. The rooms are cute and well designed. The restaurant is charmingly run and the breakfast just perfect. The common areas are delightful. The whatsapp service the hotel offers is answered instantly and brilliantly well with links, extra suggestions and helpful information. There was an issue with our shower that smelled on the first day. Not only was this fixed instantly, but a room was held in case it couldn’t be fixed and a champagne bottle presented the day after to apologise for any inconvenience. Very charming, and very correct. We commented on the way out for dinner one night that we liked the cake they had for tea in the foyer. When we arrived back in our room there were 2 slices beautifully displayed, awaiting us in our room. Incredibly the hotel was happy for us to have a late checkout so we could use our room right up until our (late) departure for the airport. This was supremely helpful and not something they were obliged to do at all. We were so grateful. All of the above led me to conclude that this hotel just wants you to enjoy your time, enjoy their hospitality and enjoy Lisbon. I am super impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this well run establishment to anyone that asked where to stay in Lisbon. Gorgeous !

Customer service at sublime Lisboa is the best I’ve ever experienced. The room was beautiful and we loved the boutique feel. The italian restaurant attached is also very good. But the hotel staff is what made it for us. We had a terrible taxi driver who was being difficult when he dropped us off and the staff saw what was happening and came out to handle the situation. Amazing. They turned a very terrible first impression of Lisbon into a fantastic one. Big thanks to Rafael and Pedro for saving us as well as Leonor for providing recommendations in Porto! Loved the small touches like the pastel de nata in the room for us to taste when we arrived. Just a really wonderful experience, we will stay here again.

Sublime hotel is one of kind. The staff is outstanding, the hotel is perfect very boutiquey the food is fantastic. Very customized if you need it. The hotel staff went above and beyond our expectations. Unfortunately wildfires were happening and prevented us from going to the duoro valley and Porto. They helped us reroute our trip and it turned out outstanding. Many many thanks to the sublime staff they were very dumure! Unfortunately not all hotels were helpful Vila foz stay away from. A welcome respite from the business of Lisbon, without missing a beat of destination authenticity! The whole team was so nice and welcoming and always happy to say yes to any request. And the sweet Taylor swift welcome amenity was so charming. It felt like everyone really took the time to welcome us and say, “I was enchanted to meet you!” :) For a leisure trip, it might be more fun to stay in the middle of the quaint tourist area like barrio alto, but this was also nice if you’d like to stay away from it all and still be able to access major tourist destinations and neighborhoods within minutes.

Sublime's custom bath products and front desk staff were the highlight of my stay. I miss the scent of the hand soap. As for the front desk, they're all so sweet and helpful. They will help you plan anything you desire, any time of day, like having a personal assistant. I booked the Lisboa Suite and it was very quiet - it has two doors to block hotel noise and the windows are soundproof. The large windows let gentle light into the room with views of the street and another building. Expect turn down service, having your room made up in the morning, large well lit armoire for organizing clothing, a towel warmer, tub + vanity, and giant comfy clean pillows. Be sure to have breakfast sent to your room. The bathroom detracted from the overall feel of the room. It is not stylish, beautiful or high quality. The shower feels as though you're enclosed in a flimsy box with poor lighting. I appreciated their efforts for environmental sustainability by replacing any disposable plastics with elegant natural materials.
