A Century-Old House Reborn: Jia & Tong Homestay For two and a half years, we poured our hearts into rebuilding this century-old Dong ethnic fir wood stilt house from the ground up. We preserved its soul—the traditional mortise-tenon joints and gable textures—while weaving in modern comforts: reinforced concrete, brick walls, and advanced soundproofing technology. Farewell to the creaks of traditional wooden houses; here, serenity meets the wild. Every brick, tile, beam, and stone was handcrafted with devotion, embodying the artisan spirit and a perfect fusion of Dong heritage with contemporary comfort. Our spaces breathe purity: rooms are crafted with solid wood and water-based eco-paint, where beige brick walls and exposed mountain bedrock become natural art. Though rebuilt with brick, each room honors Dong tradition with original fir wood finishes—every inch whispers the essence of nature.
