Premier Inn Lincoln City Centre

We booked at the last minute and informed the hotel it was for our anniversary and for health reasons asked for a quiet room. Not only did we have a quiet room but the staff made it so special by decorating our room for our anniversary and sending a lovely card.The hotel was so clean and the staff so helpful and friendly. We stayed last weekend as a party of 7 friends & family for my sisters 60th birthday. The Manager and hotel staff went out to their way to make sure we all had everything we needed especially my sister who's room the staff decorated and left treats for her. We all had twin rooms with two single beds that were very comfortable. the whole hotel is very clean and is a nice place to stay. At breakfast the staff were very helpful especially as it was their busiest period, we didn't have to wait long for any food. My sister had her cake to cut up for us all and the hotel provided take out boxes for us to put cake in for taking home which was great as we had forgotten to bring anything. All in all it was a great stay and the hotel is in a great place for the city centre just across the road but far enough away that we didn't hear any noise.

Awful dining experience, took 40minutes to bring one main course in a restaurant not a 1/3 full. When asked why, I got nothing back apart from its not my fault I'm not in the kitchen! Other people where also waiting so wasn't just me. They had also run out of basic items on the menu including peas???? but proceeded to take orders and then come back saying 'we haven't got that' This isn't the first time I've had poor evening mean service at this hotel, plus, the restaurant is cold, which doesn't help the experience. The food itself when it arrive was of a standard expected at Premier Inn, but the added gravy looked like it had come out of the dishwasher...

Conveniently located & very reasonably priced hotel for a night out at the Theatre in Lincoln, shopping & exploring the Castle /Cathedral area. All well within walking distance. Chose a Premier plus room for its extra space, comfort & amenities. Excellent breakfast. Lovely staff. Convenient parking in multi-storey directly behind.

Ideally situated Premier Inn for our short city break; choice of two car parks a few minutes walk away, 24 hour open. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable room, peaceful. Would recommend and would definitely stay again on our next visit to Lincoln.

Hotel in good place to explore Lincoln. We have stayed in many Premier Inns including London many times, but this hotel was probably the worst experience at breakfast time. Very badly run, not enough staff there, as only 1 or 2 chefs plus similar waiting staff who were running around trying their best . Many food items were constantly running out and taking ages to replenish, some items had totally ran out like muffins, croissants etc, food wasn’t great tasting there either. Tables were left dirty for ages( not staffs fault, as did their best) . One male server was particularly busy in there, and very pleasant! It was half term so hotel was very busy, queue’s for the food were long too, therefore that should have been considered and definitely more staff needed. Totally chaotic breakfast time on both days. Even in London we have never experienced this ! Also requested a room clean, but this did not happen, just got our towels changed which I was going to mention when we checked out, but there wasn’t anyone on reception! Overall I probably wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and did work hard, and hotel is good for being close to Lincoln centre.
