Nature Inn at Bald Eagle

It’s hard to just describe how adorable the Nature Inn at Bald Eagle Park is. We were looking for a place that was away from city lights so we could do stargazing. A lot of places in the area were closed for the winter and after asking around we stumbled on to the Nature Inn. It is incredible.! The staff Kaisha, Dan, Jackson are all incredibly friendly and gave information on where to find eagles and on the best spots for stargazing. When we got here in the afternoon, we were able to order dinner, which was delicious! And we ordered breakfast which was flavorful and very filling. The Inn is immaculate, fires are built in the dining area or outside in the fire pit. Great views, quiet and we could see the stars. They host weddings here and I imagine they are idyllic. If you want a peaceful and beautiful and well priced experience come here. Every minute was terrific.

Outstanding stay - wonderful staff, great breakfast and lovely location. The chef made us a superb dinner- nice not to have to go out after a long day of hiking. The rooms are fantastic. Basically, we loved the beds, the eco approach to the entire place and furniture.

My husband and I got married this past weekend and it could not have been more perfect. We knew we had stumbled upon something special when we visited the Nature Inn for the first time. Settled on top of a hill in Bald Eagle State Park, sits this 16 room inn with stunning views. From our first inquiry, the wedding coordinator (Kashia) was extremely responsive and accommodating. Leading up to our wedding, Kashia ensured all details were in place. She assisted in finding the perfect spot to take photos and had an answer for any question that we had. Kashia is who all venue coordinators should strive to be. Upon arriving at the inn, our guests were blown away by the fact that we had the entire inn to our party for both Friday and Saturday night. The ability to have a weekend long celebration was one of a kind. The package we selected included the rehearsal dinner, breakfast and lunch for guests staying at the inn on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday morning. Kashia was extremely accommodating and worked with us to allow additional guests staying off site at the local Marriott in Lock Haven to join for both Friday night dinner and Sunday morning breakfast. As all of our guests traveled far to be apart of our special day, it was important that we were able to include them in the full celebration. Guests were also impressed by the beauty of the Nature Inn and the surrounding Bald Eagle State Park. We had many guests go fishing, kayaking, and hiking the morning of our event as the bridal party was getting ready! There are also golf courses 20 minutes away from the inn that guests enjoyed! Not only was the Nature Inn accommodating, but the food was exceptional! My husband and I received compliments all weekend on how amazing the food served by the Nature Inn was. We chose the Filet Carving Station as our main entree for the reception and guests said it was some of the best steak they've ever had. One great compliment that we received from our guests was the versatility of the reception. Inside in the lobby area was the dance floor (hire Alex from Mint DJ Events!), outside was a patio area where guests could eat and relax, and then further down is a fire place where guests could enjoy s'mores! There was something for everyone! The staff at the Nature Inn was exceptional! Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. The staff made all of our guests feel welcomed and comfortable. The staff set up the entire reception area, with the exception of a few details that we provided. It was the most perfect wedding. My husband and I received many compliments saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to. I am extremely grateful to the Nature Inn and Kashia for all of their hard work that they put in to making the weekend more than I could have ever imagined.

We had the most amazing wedding for my daughter in May of this year! The Nature Inn is family friendly, but also amazing for couples to enjoy the outdoors. The staff goes above and beyond to cater to your every need. All of our guests for the wedding commented on how beautiful the venue was to visit, eat, and enjoy! We will absolutely be returning for a family reunion. We would highly recommend The Nature Inn for anyone who loves clean accommodations, breathtaking views, and food that is outstanding. Plus, so many amenities to enjoy :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine's Day Getaway at the Inn. We were served a delicious dinner in a beautiful setting. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room was immaculate and complete with flowers and chocolate-covered strawberries to help celebrate the occasion. We have stayed here often but this was our first experience with having dinner. We have never been disappointed with our stay. This inn is a hidden treasure.

The rooms are nicely done, it has a nice vibe to It. The breakfast Is good, to be honest I am looking forward to visit this place again. You wake up In the morning and have this beautiful view of foggy mountains, lakes and just nature at Its best. It has a nice outdoor space, and when It gets dark, you truly feel that you are living in the mountains.
