Riverside Bed & Breakfast

Amazing stay and amazing host. Roxanna even kindly posted my forgotten phone charger to my home address and refused payment. Exceptional host and venue. Highly recomend this venue if you're staying in or around Bainbridge. Definitely a great place to stay.

Absolutely perfect. The photos on here do not do this place justice it’s immaculately warm and comfortable with beautiful surroundings. We stayed in room 2 over new year and what a lovely break this was it was almost to good to be true… the room was lovely and warm coming in from the cold and it was absolutely pristine! Welcomed with some biscuits and a fridge with fresh milk for a cup of tea/ coffee it was just perfect after a long drive. The breakfast was out of this world it was all freshly cooked and locally sourced, even the jam which was sorted by a friend of Roxanna which I may add was just sooooooo good! The only thing we struggled with is turning the car in the carpark, we only have a Ford so not overly big we used the driveway of the house at the back to turn on the first night and noticed the owners blocked the drive with the car so we couldn’t do this again. (Apologises for this) we learnt and parked on the road which was a lot easier. Overall this was an outstanding stay, the breakfast was just remarkable (sorry I was a little hungover NYD to finish) However the yogurt saved the day! I would of easily paid more for this stay, like I say to good to be true. Thank you and we really can’t wait to come again.

Beautifully kept, comfortable, great situation and really friendly and helpful host. As long as you are able to climb two flights of stairs to the accommodation a great place to stay. We intend to come again. From the outside you may be a little put off. Another part of the building is undergoing much needed renovation and there are rotten window and door frames. However this does not impact in any way except visually as you walk round the outside. The ground floor is used as a butchers shop and meat preparation area. There is no smell A good substantial breakfast served in the beautifully decorated lounge. You won’t need lunch!
