Residence Inn Lexington South/Hamburg Place

Hotel is in an area with lots of food & shopping choice so definitely a plus. Property is nice & has a small residential community next to it, so it’s nice not to be in an all commerical area. Front desk care taker was nice at check-in. We requested a room on the top floor (I’m a light sleeper) & were told ok but when we went to our room it was on the corner of the 3rd floor right next to the stairwell. Room was nice & clean. There was damage to the chair at the dining room table, looks like a cat may have clawed it. We booked a king suite with the spa shower. I wouldn’t go heavy on the “spa” a shower head that has 2 different sprays & some complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash isn’t what I had thought. Nonetheless it was a huge shower & plenty of hot water so that was a plus. Coming into the side entrance from getting our bags, you were knocked over with the smell of ****. I’m not knocking the hotel for that but it was there the whole evening when we were coming in & out. The beds were nice, I would have loved the pillows to be a bit more firm because my head went through 2 of them. Overall, it was a quiet nice above us & no late nighters coming in being loud. We could hear cars racing up & down the street in front of the hotel. Breakfast was a good assortment & the attendant was good at making sure things were cleaned & stocked. My only thing was the coffee was extremely bitter. Overall would stay or recommend.

Always nice to receive a warm welcome upon entering the hotel. Jean provided the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism during check-in and was able to answer all our questions. The 2 bedroom suite was exactly what we needed for the occasion. It was clean and quiet and Elizabeth in housekeeping was great. An excellent stay and definitely a place we will consider staying again in the future.

Nice hotel! Clean, quiet, and an awesome breakfast! I was very surprised for a random Residence Inn having such a nice breakfast. Front desk is very nice and helpful, rooms are clean, would stay again and highly recommend.

I do jot understand why major hotel chains are short changing their customers. The hotel was clean and well appointed but why is the TV not a Smart TV? When my wife and travel we are looking for something which compliments our travel experience not one where we have to accommodate a bit of corner cutting.

Was a great stay everything from check in to check out. I stayed over 60 days for business and I will definitely be back when I’m staying in Lexington again. The only complaint I had was the front doors are a pain in the butt to move ur suitcase in and out of hotel and the doors don’t open automatically. But A+ great place and great people

We have stayed here twice a year for the last several years. This Residence Inn continues to be very well run and gets better with each visit. Our two bedroom suite was in perfect condition. The kitchen had recently received a new supply of dishes, silverware and, I think, pots and pans. The stove and refrigerator were new as well. The only thing I think that could be improved is the comfort of the sofa and single chair. Both are a bit hard. But that is a corporate problem. We didn't have time for breakfast though I checked out the offerings. It all looked good. The front desk staff was friendly and waiting with our room keys as soon as we told them our name. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We'll be back again in January.
