The Savannah, Boutique Bnb & Spa

A very friendly and charming place. The room, the 'Admiral Suite' was a perfect size (small sofa in sitting area), and the bathroom was clearly recently redone. Great location -- just a 2-block walk to downtown shopping. Suggestion though... a bit far to walk to the Lewes beach. Happy hour provided wine (no beer or diet soda) that stayed out into the evening, or when 2 bottles each of white and red were gone. Breakfast was great -- pastry and breads, or a nice homemade breakfast. Beach chairs and umbrella provided, as well as a couple of bikes.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in May. The house is beautiful! The staff there was great and so was the breakfast every morning. There was a free happy hour with wine every afternoon which was an added plus. The location couldn't have been any better, you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. We took full advantage of that. We stayed in the private suite above the garage. It was super cute, awesome layout and the bathroom has a two-person shower. We will without a doubt be returning.

A last minute trip to Lewes and a stay at a top notch B & B. From the phone conversation with Marie, her greeting when we arrived and to our goodbyes, we were well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious, enjoyed happy hour and meeting other guests. Our room, public spaces and property were comfortable and immaculate. The Savannah is a short walk to many shops, restaurants and historical sites. Wish we could have stayed longer. Next time.

This was the third time we've stayed at the Savannah and our experience was wonderful, as always. Marie, the Innkeeper, was welcoming and friendly and prepared amazing breakfasts each morning. The Inn is a beautiful space with several common areas for relaxation and provides a happy hour each afternoon with wine and snacks. The location is a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shops of downtown Lewes. We stayed in the Beach House Suite which is spacious, comfortable, and has its own entrance and private deck. Biking in Cape Henlopen State Park-the Gordon Ponds Trail, kayaking at Trap Pond State Park, and exploring the shops in Rehobeth and Lewes filled our days. I would highly recommend the Savannah for anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in Lewes.

From the moment I contacted them until the moment I left the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. Attention to detail was unparalleled and everything was top drawer from Happy Hour, to breakfast. Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Savannah Inn. Although it was the first weekend of January, and cold, it could not have been warmer and more welcoming at the Savannah Inn in Lewes. Just blocks from the old historic downtown and steps away from restaurants and bars. Yet very quiet and peaceful. Our room was spacious and well appointed. We loved the shared spaces of this grand old home. But best of all was the warm welcome service we received from Marie and Cindy who made us homemade breakfast and fresh coffee. I'm gluten intolerant, so the hotel provided gluten free options including snacks. The complementary wine, coffee, and snacks made this place feel like home. Thank you!
