On Vacation Amazon

Area is nice but to much gated and locked in the hotel area. Pool and bar is super busy with almost all day long loud music in the jungle? Some people love it but that’s not what you travel to the jungle for. Rooms have been great but like mentioned and like in all Colombia the noise problem with super thin walls and neighbors again with music or not caring about any others. Worst for us was no one told us anything about the property or whatsoever so we got woken up next morning 8 am and got told out ferry would be there and we need to leave ! After a rush out of bed the ferry didn’t wait for us. Now no one spoke English ( my travel buddy spoke Spanish but wasn’t as much truth telling) so we couldn’t get back to the room and got told we would need to wait now till 3 pm for the next one. After trying long discussions and about 90 minutes of stress and waiting we got driven by a small aluminum boat with no cover and a semi broken engine ( I am into that kind of adventure so I liked that part), but the reat of the morning was simply a nightmare ! place is recommended when u wanna party and do a few overpriced tours but if you wanna explore the real jungle better travel further north to puerto nariño!
