Hotel Simmenhof

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for two nights over new year 23/24 in room number 211. Michael and his team were utterly magnificent. All members of staff worked tirelessly during our stay to make all residents feel exceptionally special. Our room was of a good size with balcony to the side of the building with a Nespresso coffee maker, bathroom with bath and shower and plenty of storage space. Breakfast was a full selection of hot and cold food including cut fruit, bread, cheeses, ham, smoked salmon and juices. On New Year’s Eve the fabulous bar with piano had been decorated for the memorable six course gala dinner and party afterwards. The talented pianist then turned DJ and spun discs until the early hours. Prior to dinner all guests were treated to a no expense spared Moët and Chandon champagne reception. Underneath the hotel is a splendid wellness spa with sauna, steam room, tanning room, showers and a beautiful indoor outdoor swimming pool which leads out into the gardens where there is an integral whirlpool. Even in sub zero conditions swimming outside was warm and invigorating. On the morning of our departure, the young man who had looked after us the night before was again there to take care of us. This young man made it to bed at 4am and was up again at 6am to continue working. That is true dedication ! In conclusion, Michael, the general manager his wife and their team made our stay one of the most memorable for my wife and I and our Swiss friends of thirty five years. We will certainly be back to enjoy unparalleled hospitality again soon.

Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Freundlicher Empfang. Saubere gut dimensionierte Zimmer. Ruhig. Freundliches Personal. Gute Küche. Menüauswahl eher klein. Matratzen sehr weich. Notausgang im 2. OG versperrt... Frühstücksbuffet genügend, leider "nur" Filterkaffee.

Sehr nettes Hotel mit hervorragendem Service. Wir hatten die grosszügige Juniorsuite mit riesigem Balkon und herrlichem Blick auf die Berge. Anfragen wurden sofort und pragmatisch umgesetzt. Frühstücksbüffet reichhaltig (vor allem die leckere heimische Käseauswahl) und auch hier wurden Sonderwünsche gerne erfüllt. Haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und haben so den Jahreswechsel perfekt genossen (Wetter war auch perfekt)
