Premier Inn Leicester Fosse Park

Our Accessible Room was cancelled 24 hours before check in due to a ‘technical problem’ and we had to have a ‘robust discussion’ with the Receptionist and Manager to sort the best worst option out. The Hotel is tatty, tired and there were other guests queueing to complain about their rooms. Our room was very cold and we had problems getting the heating working. We were offered a complimentary drink and asked for a Brandy and a Baileys, only to be told the Hotel had neither, despite there being two bottles of Baileys sitting on the shelf. The Manager told us that the Hotel is being demolished in May and the Staff are being made redundant. Worst experience and tattiest Premier Inn we’ve ever stayed at.

Very disappointed with with this hotel, not up to the Premier Inn brand. Room very tired, poor state of decor, bath room very grubby, dirty grout, old wooden bath panel, looks like it's not been maintained very well. A car was broken into whilst parked in the car park overnight, 2 separate visits from police during the night. Under staffed for size of hotel, staff having flit between reception and dining room to serve drinks at the bar. Advertising 4 cocktails, only 1 available. Avoid this hotel, be worth spending a little bit extra for a much better experience, room & service. Definitely won't be staying there again!!!

For the price you can't really ask for more. Check in was easy, the bed and pillows were comfy, the area was quiet, the shower was really good, the service was friendly, breakfast was unlimited as an optional extra, the bar and lounge were great, plenty of parking.

We needed overnight accommodation in the area to deal with some family business. This Premier Inn is perfectly located with ample parking. We checked inn early and the room was comfy. It is located on one of the arterial roads outside Leicester so it was convenient for driving into Leicester. It’s close to the Fosse Retail Park too and at £50 on a Sunday night it was excellent value (it’s 3 times that mid week) We’d gladly use this hotel again.

Great hotel, friendly staff and perfect for what we needed it for. Ellie & Alex couldn’t do enough for us. As a disabled person staying away can be a struggle but our room and size of the disabled bathroom was great too. Quick check in, great parking facilities for disabled access.
