Premier Inn Leicester Fosse Park

Booked this hotel due to the ideal location as travelling for work. Arrival was easy and the car park was fairly empty. I parked easy and registered my car at reception. I was greeted by the lovely receptionist who allowed me to book in a little early. Went to my room. Now - the room was adequate. I was on my own and acceptably clean. Yes - it was a bit tired, but I slept really well and the room was totally blacked out by the curtains. The facilities were basic - but it’s all I needed. Decent TV that worked, with kettle (cheap PG Tips), fan, etc. Soap in bathroom and shower gel stuff. Shower was hot and fairly good. Reception was very nice with a nice lounge area & bar. I logged onto my work laptop and it was. Nice environment. Got a drink from the bar. There is WiFi which seemed to work fine on my phone. For dinner - I walked 0.7 miles along the main road to a local pub. The Black Horse I think. Very much for locals in a housing area, but it was very welcoming. I had a burger. Really good pub grub and would definitely go there again. Pint of ale which was ok. Following morning I went to breakfast at 7am. Lots of tables. Very good buffet breakfast - had everything I needed. All in all an excellent stay here. This hotel is used by workman. Vans everywhere in the evening and hard working chaps arriving from all walks of life. It is what it is. Romantic night away? No - maybe not. (Although the bar in the evening was very quite and pleasant) Need a place for work? Yes - 100%

Excellent location and very comfortable room. Eat dinner in the restaurant and although the chice was basic, the meal was well presented and very good. The prices were lower than I expected and the quality was higher than I expected. The only.issue with the hotel was that although the wifi was good in the bar and restaurant, it was non existent in the room.

Courtney provided great service at the bar/restaurant and also fixed my room issue multiple times I really recommend staying here if you are visiting Leicester also travel links are very good also have plenty of shops near by and two mins from the motorway

Probably not the best premier inn hotel we’ve ever stayed at so far. Bed’s very uncomfortable, Back braking and creaky single child’s beds. Noisy guests, walking talking around 04.15 am. Wi-Fi unstable, comes & goes, need to keep logging back in. Basically, It’s a contractors working hotel, so lots of vans about. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a leisurely family stay during the weekdays at all?! Hardly got any sleep at all I’m afraid. Crossing this one off the list permanently. Also no usb charging points, could just replace existing sockets with usb integrated 13a 2 gang sockets?! z Rooms are very dated. Best room steams up due to extractor fan not working?! Only positive, tv small but had a good variety of channels. Reception and dining areas are nice. Cleanliness ok for a tired hotel.

Friendly staff, didn’t wait long to get checked in even though it was late, good sized rooms, comfy beds and they actually clean the kettles that are in your rooms so you can enjoy a brew without the limescale. The food is also good and they serve moretti, bosh.
