We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and everything is well maintained. The room was bright and cheerful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good with a nice variety. The hotel is part of the Unity campus but a separate facility. There is a walking trail which we enjoyed. This is a very nice hotel and among the best Comfort Inns we have stayed at.

You should stay here! Heads up! It’s not an ordinary hotel experience. The hotel is on the campus of Christian organization, but that shouldn’t dissuade you. It’s a very quiet, friendly, and welcoming environment. The fitness center is absolutely huge! The rooms are well maintained with a good amount of space. The staff was friendly and helpful. Oh, and the breakfast was better than expected! Stay here. It’s a little weird at first, but you’ll like it.

I seldom write reviews but there was a lady that gave a special effort today. First, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the reception staff is very friendly. We arrived very late, 12:30 am and the receptionist was wonderful. This morning, we were late for the breakfast. We arrived after the breakfast time was over. There was also a family with 3 children there at the same time. The Lady that prepares the breakfast opened the breakfast back open for us. It was wonderful with eggs, gravy / biscuits and bacon. She even opened the pan cake maker back up for the kids. In today’s service industry, it seems like the service provider is more important than the customer. But not with this kind Lady, she gets an A+++++ in my book. This hotel and staff are 5*!

From the gorgeous, expansive campus, to the neatly and brightly arranged rooms, to the hot complimentary breakfast, to the excellent staff, you cannot ask for a better accommodation. Though a bit outside the city, it’s proximity away from the hustle and bustle is actually an alluring feature of the hotel. And one of the best features above all is the sprawling campus and gardens outside the hotel. I dare say you’ll find a perk like this at any other hotel. The nearby fountains, gardens, and nature trail were intimate and complemented the hotel perfectly. Following a breakfast comprised of pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and fresh lemon cucumber water, my family and I were able to explore and relish in the gardens/fountains all to ourselves. I also like that the building itself operates more like a boutique than a large chain hotel. Everything just seems personalized just for you. I sure hope this place is able to stay open because this is the place we want to stay at whenever we pass thru KC in the years to come.
