Fernsicht Alpen-Apartments

This is an extremely well run, comfortable apartment building. The owner, Marion, answered all of our requests prior to our stay, including booking local restaurants and picking us up from the Arlberg Bus stop in town when we arrived. The apartment itself is newly renovated, immaculately clean and well stocked and the beds are super comfy. Even the sofa bed had an extra mattress topper so that our twenty year old son had nothing to complain about. Parking for one car is provided in the local car park a five minute walk away and we could easily ski to the Schlosskopfe lift from the accommodation at the start of the day. Although located a five minute walk from the centre of town, we found the apartment a peaceful retreat but still within easy reach of local restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment (Apartment 1) we stayed in is modern, very clean, well furnished, has a private sauna, a well equipped kitchen, and is very spacious for a family of 4 (though only 3 of us were able to go). There is daily cleaning service, bread delivery for breakfast, and a trust bar at the reception where you can conveniently get some basic foodstuff such as eggs, butter, yogurt and wine for relaxation. Marion, who owns and managers the apartments was every helpful with anything we needed. We couldn't ask for more! The apartment internet connectivity was good, and we were able to work effectively from there. There are lots of power points installed making it easy to connect our equipments anywhere in the apartment. We cooked dinner 3 nights at the apartment and ate at the surrounding cafe restaurants on the other days. It's best to book the restaurants in advance of your trip, as we found it a little difficult to get last minute reservations. The cafe restaurants we enjoyed around the apartment were: Cafe Fritz, Cafe Olympia, and Hagen's. With ski and boot room on the site, you can either ski out from Fernsicht (with a short walk back uphill), or walk down to the rental shops just below. Apartment 1 is on the lowest level of the house, so if you are booking that apartment, just be aware that there are a couple of flights of stairs down to get to the apartment.

This is a really comfortable, spacious and well-appointed apartment with easy access to a ski lift and the town. We were very well looked after with such helpful and hospitable owners. You can order fresh bread to be delivered every morning which was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back next year!

Fantastic apartment to enjoy a holiday in and around Lech from, and a very friendly team. Plenty of room for a family of 4 to spread out in. A lovely, modern kitchen/living area and wonderful views from the dining table inside and from the terrace (there was a very quiet crane nearby which was no bother and won’t be there forever). The daily bread delivery was a highlight of the holiday and ensured that we experimented with bakery items that we might otherwise never have been brave enough to ask for, and the honour-bar in the foyer enabled us to enjoy a cool drink and snack on arrival before the shops were next open. Parking was easy in the local underground car park, and we didn’t touch the car all week as local buses and lifts got us where we needed to go. Absolutely wonderful.

A wonderful contemporary apartment that exceeded all of our expectations in terms of decoration, finish, comfort, furnishings and location. Waking up to view the mountains was exceptional. Marion was so welcoming, answering all the questions we had. Most certainly will be retuning once more to stay at Fernsicht. Highly recommended - as to the summer walking and trekking. Thank you!

Fernsicht Apartments are perfect for family or friends. We travelled with one other family. The apartment is immaculately clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Marion is a delight to deal with, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.
