I am a traveling nurse working at a local hospital and thought I would give this place a try. My first impression was that it was a very nice place to stay. The front desk person was friendly, polite and informative. There were some complimentary cookies in the lobby but they were burnt and inedible! My suite was spacious and clean. I tried using the bathroom sink but the plunger was stuck down and it wouldn't drain no matter what I tried. The next morning I spoke to the front desk woman about the stuck drain and she behaved as if I were a simpleton that didn't know how to open a sink drain. I informed her that I had tried everything to fix it and it wouldn't open and to please see about fixing it while I was working. When I returned back to my room after work the bathroom sink was now working fine, but nobody had come to clean or replenish my coffee maker items. Is this too much to ask for in a $200/night room. The following morning I had no creamers or sugar to be able to make my coffee. I thought well I'll just go down to the breakfast area and get coffee there, but much to my dismay the breakfast area doesn't open until 7am on Saturdays! I couldn't even get coffee! Unfortunately, I have to be at work at 7am! As a residence Inn located less than a mile from a large Medical Center that accommodates traveling medical workers, you would think they would know that workers need to be able to get breakfast early no matter what day of the week it is. When I expressed my unhappiness about it to the same front desk woman, she simply shrugged. Perhaps the manager of this hospitality establishment should teach the employees how to be more hospitable! I will definitely be looking at other options for staying in the area while I'm working there.
