It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs. The place seems to need some better cleaning outside and perhaps a new coat of paint. There is a highway next to the property. For a next time, we would like to stay more centric as Aix has a lot to offer in terms of exploring the city, restaurants and cafes.

In realtà questa struttura non può definirsi un 3 stelle, ma più verosimilmente un 2 stelle. La pulizia è scarsa, soprattutto sul pavimento erano visibili peli, capelli e polvere. Non avevamo la minima intenzione di cucinare ma anche la cucina lasciava a desiderare in pulizia e attrezzatura. La notte si attivava un sistema di aerazione centralizzato rumorosissimo e dormire era quasi impossibile. Il phon non è presente, ma c'è invece uno "scaldasalviette"! Mai visto!!! Il letto è alla francese, cioè piccolo e non c'è un cuscino in più nell' armadio. Se avete bagagli pesanti sappiate che non c'è l' ascensore.

A pochi km da Aix-en-Provence e a 20min dall'areoporto di Marsiglia questa struttura offre stanze pulite e funzionali. Ovviamente adatte ad un soggiorno breve in quanto al minimo sindacale dei comfort. Però la posizione è strategica, il prezzo basso e la pulizia eccellente. Tuttavia è poco più di un ostello.
