Hôtel Café Miramar

I can't say enough good things about this lovely little hotel/restaurant!! The rooms are pretty, clean, very comfortable, and have gorgeous views of the Mediterranean from the balconies. The restaurant is charming and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS! But the best part has to be the caring, helpful, delightful staff. Each one goes out of their way to make sure your every hour is as comfortable and happy as possible. We LOVED staying here and hope we can come back many times! Highly, highly recommended.

Excellent hotel. Super location right across the beach. Friendly welcome. The rooms with views are the best. Ask for sea view rooms. They have a beach club across the hotel with very reasonable prices and great service. We spent the whole day there. You need to reserve as there is limited number of beach beds.

We have just returned from a week 13th - 20th July 2022 at Cafe Miramar. We had previously stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in July 2019 and had such a wonderful time we had booked to return in July 2020 but unfortunately had to cancel due to the COVID Pandemic. So we had been so looking forward to coming back. We rarely go back to the same place and that tells you how special this little hotel and Le Grau du Roi are. The location is perfect across from the beach and we loved our room (16) as it had a lovely beach front balcony and side port hole window. The shower is good and air conditioning is excellent. The room as previous reviewers have said is small. We loved the Cafe Miramar beach club and the staff particularly the waiters look after you very well. When we were at Cafe Miramar in 2019 we had no problem booking beds and parasols. This time unfortunately Le Grau du Roi has grown in popularity and due to it being the weekend following Bastille day we could only book for the last 2 days of our week stay. So take my advice and book the beach club early. We loved having our breakfast outside looking over the beach. The girls who served us were lovely. Plenty of cereal, bread, croissants and cheeses and ham. Although there were fruit we would have preferred if it had been cut up and a little more variety. We had dinner at the hotel the first night and it was delicious. I had goat cheese salad and my husband had the razor clams. We were fortunate to see the fireworks on Bastille day as well as the water jousting. Make sure you book a sunset cruise. We had a hired car and made day trips to Montpellier and Aigues Mortes. Both worth seeing. Don’t bother going to see La Grand Motte. But the best thing of all are the outstanding canal, beach front and little squares restaurants and the seafood. All the menus are in French but everyone who served us were so helpful! When checking out we spoke to Stefanie the owner and had a lovely chat. Le Grau du Roi is a hidden gem and we love it because the French have kept it a secret and there are not many foreigners who know about it. Cafe Miramar is the place to stay! We loved it.

We started at Miramar for 4 nights (2 adults and 2 kids). We rented sea view apartment and enjoyed it very much. Apartment had 2 rooms that could be separated by the rolling wall. All cutlery and kitchen appliances were new. Master bedroom and sofa bed were very comfortable. The view from the apartment was magnificent and evening view was very beautiful. We also enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant which offered a good variety of food.

Très bonne expérience !! Nous avions toujours trouvé joli ce petit hôtel en bord de mer lors de nos promenades au Grau du roi. Nous avons donc décidé d'y passer un week-end et nous ne regrettons pas ! La chambres était parfaite, avec pour nous vue sur mer (ch 16) équipée de tout ce qu'il faut, la literie est parfaite, très propre. Nous avons dîné au restaurant de l'hôtel et nous félicitons le cuisinier et son équipe car nos papilles se souviendront longtemps des différentes saveurs. Merci au personnel très accueillant et sympathique avec un petit plus pour la serveuse que nous avons eu le soir au dîner, qu'elle garde sa bonne humeur et son professionnalisme !!

Hôtel très agréable et personnel serviable et accueillant Très bien situé en bord de mer, calme en cette période de l année Vue splendide sur la mer depuis la chambre Restaurant au top, repas du 31 décembre ! Communication par mail efficace, rapide et soignée.
