I enjoyed my stay at Arawak hotel, Gosier, Guadeloupe. Cynthia in housekeeping was extremely helpful and so was chef Yolanda and the restaurant staff and reception staff as well. A very pleasant time. The location on the beach and the views across the harbor to the other side of the island were stunning. Delightful all around. I plan to be back!!

It was ok. The air condition in the room was not up to part. They had to provide us a portable air condition. The staff is very nice and helpful. They go above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable.

Beautiful setting on a lovely beach that is very swimmable or for ‘sunning.’ There are plenty of loungers in shade snd sun. Reminded me of Honolulu beaches. The staff was extremely helpful and tried their best to to speak English and bridge language divide. The entire property is a bit outdated and a little dingy at the edges, but
You can see that they try to make some temporary updates that polish it a bit. There’s an attempt to showcase local art, it seems, throughout the property. The worst part is the ‘included’ breakfast that is swarmed by crowd snd mourning doves while you eat. The menu is not varied. Most of the food is fairly bland, cold snd picked over by birds or visitors. Not very hygienic at all or appetizing. Very limited and confusing room service.

I enjoyed very much my stay at Arawak hotel. Everything was OK. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the view from the balcony of my chamber was magnificent.

Emplacement top mais.. - Musique "d'ambiance" trop forte et surtout appréciée par le personnel... - le personnel du bar (plage) n'est pas actif, le client doit s'occuper lui-même de passer commande, de nettoyer les chaises longues les tables et les chaises.. Exemple vécu : Une poubelle située à quelques mètres des chaises longues débordait de déchets... les serveurs ont dû passer 30 fois à côté sans le remarquer.. c'est une fois que je leur ai dit qu'il n'était même plus possible d'y ajouter une bouteille vide qu'il s'est enfin décidé à la vider... - Cet établissement n'a pas (du tout) un service 4**** - Dommage car la situation est vraiment exceptionnelle :)

Hôtel 3 étoiles pas plus. Super lobby avec un bar somptueux fermé même en période de Noël. Dommage. Les patrons aiement l’AR mais il n’y a aucun tableaux dans les chambres qui mériteraient d’être refaite. La plage n’est pas top, manque de transat .

Rapport qualité prix déplorable ... un des pires que j'ai jamais rencontré. Cet hôtel ne mérite absolument pas 4*, 2* tout au plus. La robinetterie de la baignoire et du lavabo était quasi hors d'usage. Il fallait 1 heure pour remplir la baignoire et encore l'eau chaude était que tiède. Le lavabo était bouché ! Les équipements sont cheap : à l'image des lampes de chevet qui étaient du plus bas de gamme que l'on puisse trouver ... Pas très propre : on a trouvé un mégot d'un client précédent sur le balcon, preuve que le ménage était mal fait ou pas fait. Mal insonorisé : on entend les gens marcher au dessus !

Les chambres sont d'un niveau d'hôtel 2 etoiles pour leur état général : des tâches aux rideaux, sur le canapé, des WC non récurés et une douche avec moisissures dans une chambre dite "suite Junior". Pour une demi-pension prise, le service est déplorable. Le repas dure en moyenne 2h30 sachant qu'au bout d'une heure on vient vous prévenir qu'il ne reste plus le plat commandé. Les serveurs sont inorganisés au possible sans supervision ! Dans cet hôtel de 4 etoiles l'accueil et la restauration ne se consultent pas. Quand il est demandé par plusieurs couples qui en ont marre d'attendre pour manger un entretien avec la direction, elle se montre inexistante. Le plus fort quand même c'est que nos très "chers" voyagistes payés pour s'assurer de la qualité de la prestation vendent cet hotel comme un paradis en montrant sur leur site des photos qui n'ont rien a voir avec la réalité.
