We arrived in Saint-Clar after a day of exploring the French countryside. We found La Demeure by chance and were happy we did. The property was charming, and the Host / Owner was friendly. Our room was attractive and overlooked the church next door. Breakfast in the vintage kitchen was delight and included local breads and jams. We were lucky to share the kitchen table with a French couple who provided information for our journey to Bordeaux. We explored the village market and purchased some local wine.
