En voyage en Auvergne avec des amis, nous avons réservé au Gite Volcantal ,la propriétaire nous a proposé de réserver le repas du soir, nous avons bien sûr demandé le menu, gratin de ravioles, poulet au cantal et aux champignons, tarte au myrtilles, aussitôt accepté par nous quatre. Arrivés au gite à 19h00, on nous invite à l'apéritif de bienvenue, qui sera oh surprise, facturé...A 20h repas et nous voyons arriver une assiette avec une côte de porc et des lentilles trop cuites. A notre étonnement de ce changement sans même nous prévenir à 19h00, la réponse de la propriétaire est ; je n'ai pas eu le temps... L'un d'entre nous ne mangeant pas de cochon, on lui propose une salade, puis sur insistance des convives une omelette. Aucune empathie de la part de la propriétaire, plus pressée de facturer que d'être attentionnée, on n'est pas surpris que les gérants soient issus de la grande distribution. Par rapport à l'accueil chaleureux des auvergnats partout ailleurs, une étape à oublier.

Nous avons passé un séjour de 2 nuits chez Karine et Pascal.Hôtes très accueillants, d'une grande gentilesse. Une vrai table d'hôtes avec d'autres personnes, Karine vous fera de bons petits plats, avec des produits locaux, de l'apéritif au dessert en passant par le petit déjeuner avec des produits fait maison. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Pascal s'aura vous parler de la région, des producteurs locaux et de leur reconvertion. Et si vous souhaitez prendre un petit moment de détente, Karine ou Pascal pourront vous faire un soin énergitique ou un massage. Un grand merci à eux deux!!

Superbe chambre d’hôte entre Murat et le Lioran Un peu à l’écart de la grande route . Emplacement idyllique avec vue sur la montagne. 5 chambres et 1 gîte . Table d’hôte de qualité avec des produits du coin . Soins énergétiques si vous avez une petite baisse de régime. A découvrir absolument.

Il est des endroits qui nous marquent et qui nous font promettre de revenir....Au Coeur du Volcantal en fait partie. Les propriétaires Karine et Pascal sont charmants, généreux et professionnels, toujours à l'écoute. Partageant leurs bons plans balades, producteurs locaux et randonnées, ils savent vous aider à passer un séjour au top ! Notre chambre était très confortable avec une vue sur la montagne et les chevaux d'en face, le réveil est agréable! Petits-déjeuners et diners à la hauteur du reste, bons, généreux et dans la bonne humeur. Merci encore

Un séjour de 4 jours en famille exceptionnel. Un accueil avec des sourires qui en disent long. Un petit déjeuner et diner du soir avec des produits locaux et de qualité. Un environnement calme, à quelques minutes de la station de ski Le Lioran et la petite ville de Murat avec toutes ses commodités. Nos enfants ne voulaient pas quitter cet endroit et nous non plus d'ailleurs. Un grand merci Karine et Pascal ainsi que vos enfants pour nous avoir choyé. En espérant vous revoir. Karine et Pascal sont très accueillants et communiquent leur amour du pays à travers des idées de randos, de visites ou d'achats. Les petits déjeuners avec des produits locaux sont délicieux et les chambres impeccables.
