What We Loved • Stunning Grounds and Beach The resort’s well-maintained landscaping and pristine beachfront created the perfect setting for relaxation. • Three Pristine Pools The pools were spotless, and the cascading pool, in particular, became our favorite spot. Most days, we had it entirely to ourselves, making it feel like a private pool with its own bar—a truly luxurious experience. • Seamless Connectivity The Wi-Fi was impressively strong throughout the resort, allowing us to stay connected and share our moments in paradise. • Exceptional Staff The staff’s friendliness and professionalism exceeded expectations. Special thanks to these outstanding team members: • Henry & Deiby (Coco Bar, beach bar bartenders) • Jose & Francisco (Kaa Bar & Lounge bartenders, main pool bar) • Morelia & Nidia (Palm Bar bartenders, cascade pool) • Maricarmen (Azul buffet restaurant, breakfast hostess) • Isaura (Cosecha restaurant, beach snack bar, lunch waitress) • Denny & Jorjen (Cosecha restaurant, beach snack bar, cooks) • Yudeisy (Seabreeze Cafe, server) • Beatriz (Azul buffet restaurant, evening server) • Kenia (Island Grill restaurant, waitress) • Fior (Manager) Note: While tipping is not mandatory, even small gestures are greatly appreciated and recognize the staff’s hard work. Dining Highlights: • Cosecha Restaurant: Consistently delicious pizza, fries, and hamburgers (well done is “bien cocido”). • Seabreeze Café: A cozy spot for light bites like sandwiches, pastries, and fresh fruit, paired with coffee or tea. • Holiday Celebrations: The Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve dinners were exceptional! • Filtered Water: Knowing the resort used filtered water throughout provided peace of mind. Impeccable Cleanliness: Public washrooms were spotless and well-maintained—a detail we deeply appreciated. Accommodation and Amenities: • While the room was standard, the large balcony with an ocean view was a definite highlight. • The mini bar was restocked daily. Note: There is no room service. Transportation: The bus ride from El Catey Airport to the resort took about an hour and a half, including one stop at another resort along the way. Thankfully, the bus wasn’t crowded, so we could stretch out across multiple seats, making the journey more comfortable. Opportunities for Improvement: • Dining Variety: The buffet could use more variety, and some dishes weren’t as warm as we’d hoped. However, themed dinners (Asian, Mexican, Italian) added a nice change of pace. • Entertainment: Evening entertainment leaned toward a repetitive rotation of karaoke, silent disco, and occasional live music. As a couple in our late 50s/early 60s, we would’ve enjoyed a quiet lounge area for cocktails. • Rainy Weather: Frequent torrential rains made sheltered spaces a necessity. Increasing covered seating areas and having enough umbrellas would greatly enhance guest comfort. Additionally, providing more board games, card games, or other indoor activities could help keep guests enter
