Apartamentos El Guarapo

We stayed in November across 2 apartments, one for my Mum and Dad and one for my husband, my toddler and I. I was so pleasantly surprised by this stay, I knew the apartments were going to be clean and in a good location thanks to the previous reviews, but the service was just fantastic and we felt so at home at El Guarapo. The lovely ladies who cleaned our apartments (as well as serve food etc) were absolutely amazing with our little boy, they were always so friendly and warm and kind to him. The reception staff were very knowledgable, approachable and friendly. We didn’t have bed and breakfast but we did eat breakfast at the pool bar multiple times, the food was great and coffees also nice. Our boy enjoyed a nice vanilla milkshake! The rooms were clean and had everything we needed during our weeks stay. The complex itself is very well taken care of, there are people looking after the gardens, pool and rest of the apartments all the time and they clearly all work really hard. Every single person we came across was very friendly. We LOVED our apartment, apartment 14G. It was perfect for a family being on the ground floor, and far enough away from the pool that it felt private. We enjoyed a drink on the terrace in an evening. Location is excellent with a short walk to Playa Bastian, and a little further to the main square. You can catch a bus from Playa Bastian bus stop to Teguise market on a Sunday very easily. Also to add - if anyone is reading who stayed between 25th Nov-2nd Dec - all the other guests were so lovely to our boy (I think we were the only family with a child during this week) and we couldn’t be more thankful. We had such a good time and I think this was partly due to the really relaxed feel around the pool. If and when we ever return to Costa Teguise, we will be staying at El Guarapo :) thank you again for such a lovely stay. We’re really missing it. X

Thanks you El Guarapo for a lovely stay. We had an apartment 46 which was lovely! Bright, big and very clean with lovely views from all round the apartment. What a lovely place to stay. Everything was clean and you had everything needed on the apartment. It is in a quiet location but just a five minute walk from the main square area. There is a lovely pool bar which is open for breakfast and then again in the afternoon for a while. We had a lovely cheese plate on our last day. Great area with lockers toilets and showers if you need them if you have a late flight. There were a few putting towels on loungers very early and then not going out for a while…but I guess you get that everywhere. Will definitely be returning

This is the second time I have stayed at El Guarapo, and once again thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything is kept immaculate - the reception area, garden, facilities and apartments all beautiful and clean considering the amount use and footfall the place gets. Yes there is no air con, but the fans are sufficient - it’s the Canary Islands after all not Cyprus, so the temperature is never uncomfortably hot. The staff are always attentive and professional and are a credit to the place. Apartments cleaned every other day. There’s a pool curfew of of 8pm and a general quiet rule after 11pm. Great for families. Lovely chilled poolside bar for breakfast and afternoon drinks and snacks. No loud music blasting out, only chilled vibes. Location wise El Guarapo is perfect for local beaches (el Jablillo and Playa Bastian) as well as shops and attractions. All walkable. There’s always going to be people who find fault and look for the little negatives but honestly I find this place an absolute gem. Thank you once again El Guarapo team.
