Best Western Okemos/East Lansing Hotel Suites

The night staff were not very friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfy, but the air didn’t work. The breakfast was really good. Overall, the hotel was okay for a one night stay but I’m not sure that I would choose to stay there again in the future.

No elevator No plan for getting bags to room Wouldn't give us a 1st floor room Attendant told us they had many complaints night b4 regarding stains in rooms No manager on-site. Told us he, Scott, would be in nxt day. He wasn't in. I wanted to share the issued with him.

We stopped here after a long drive and enjoyed our stay. Hotel was very quiet (we stayed on a Sunday). I'm thinking it might be a little busier on weekends because of the event venue near by. Beds were very comfortable. No complaints at all. Breakfast was good. We would stay here again.

The location is excellent and the breakfast is very good. But the best thing was the friendly and helpful staff especially Scott! I came to help my brother with his apartment and I felt at home here and could de-stress!! Rooms were quite comfy!

Used this location for the hotel for a conference I organized at MSU. This was the second year using this hotel location. Staff was very willing to setup the arrangement to block out rooms and at a rate lower than in 2023. Nice rooms, good breakfast and free wifi. Hotel is easy freeway access and close to many restaurants and MSU Campus

My husband and I stayed at Best Western Okemos on June 14, 24 and all was well (aside from a confusing hotel layout) until the next day, the 15th, when we checked out. Several hours after we left (and I was working at the local hospital), I realized I left my swimsuit hanging on a hanger in the closet in our room. I called and described the swimsuit and location in which I left it. They said that hotel housekeeping would be in the following morning and to follow up with them. So I called the next morning on the 16th and they said nothing had been turned in, no luck, but they told me I could stop by and check in later. After work, I stopped by in the afternoon before our 4 hour drive home and spoke with a receptionist by the name of Kyle. He said nothing had been turned in, but that if it was turned in, it could be shipped to me. Again, I described our room number, the swimsuit, and the location I had left it. So we left and on our trip home, Kyle called us and said it had turned up and asked us to turn around and retrieve it from the hotel. I said that we had just gotten through some construction and were on our way home, but if it could be shipped to us, I would greatly appreciate it, as it's my favorite swimsuit. He told me someone would be in touch with me on Monday the 17th, but I waited and heard nothing. So I followed up on Friday the 21st and was told that I needed to call back on Saturday to talk to management or housekeeping. So I called back on Saturday the 22nd and left a voicemail. Now it's Sunday night and I haven't heard a thing and I'm just frustrated at how this was handled. Do you have my swimsuit anymore or have you lost it and, if you do have it, do I need to pay to ship it to myself after all of the confusion and lack of communication?

This is a well maintained property with easy access to expressway. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Parkin lot is well lit at night with plenty of parking spaces. Our room was spotlessly cleaned, everything clean and fresh. Nice 2 person walk in shower.

The people at the front desk make all the difference. They are friendly, pleasant and and helpful. A billing question was resolved quickly. Beyond that, the rooms are clean, well appointed and comfortable

As a Diamond BW status its usually hit and miss in US-based hotels with realizing any perks. This place was a miss. No recognition at check-in, nothing special as Diamond member, and when I asked about any upgrades - they were completely unaware of the Diamond status program.
