OOnTheRoamAgainThis hotel is great for it's proximity to Tampa airport. The shuttle service is free and easy to find within the airport too.
We arrived later in the evening and I think a few things had been going on in the hotel (or with guests) as the reception staff were a little preoccupied and not as friendly as we'd expected, but it was fine, we got into our room which was a good size, clean and we had a view of Tampa airport runways. We could hear the odd plane take off / land, but the sound did not bother us. The weather had dropped and wasn't great the weekend we stayed so we didn't get a chance to try out the small pool.
World of Beer is next door (walking) - this was great to go to for a burger in the evening as it didn't look like the hotel did food other than breakfast.
Breakfast was buffet style with a few hot items (they were lukewarm) which changed over the couple of days we were there. The waffles were great! The only downside to breakfast was that it was paper plates and plastic cutlery, but the food itself was nice. The coffee pots were available all the time in the hotel, not just at breakfast - this was great to grab a quick fix anytime.
If I needed a hotel for the airport I would stay here again or if I had access to a car, but we did not have a car, and Lyft / Uber's in and out of downtown Tampa could become expensive if you did that a couple of times a day.
We stayed here before getting on our Carnival Cruise from Channelside, Tampa. If we came again to cruise, I'd probably pay the extra and stay in downtown to be closer, but if we had a car to travel around, I'd definitely stay at the Hampton Inn, Avion Park as it was in a great location to tour from.

TTài khoản kháchI stayed overnight ahead of a cruise vacation. The hotel was clean, room and bathroom were spacious and well set up. I was able to walk across the parking lot to the Chipotle for dinner, though chose to bring it back to the hotel as it didn't seem like a place I'd want to sit and eat. As soon as I picked up my luggage at the airport, I called the direct hotel line and requested their free shuttle - they arrived in under 5 minutes!. The hotel then put me on a list to take the shuttle to the cruise port the next morning. That trip cost $10 per person one way, and the driver allowed passengers to book a $20 round trip ticket which would at the end of the cruise, either take you back to the hotel or straight to the airport. I found it really easy and convenient, and far less expensive than the cruise ship transfer or an uber/taxi. Their shuttle service was really easy to find at the end of the cruise and took me directly to the airport. Breakfast at the hotel had the usual assortment of hot and cold selections, I would say above average for hotel breakfast. I would return here in the future!

TTài khoản kháchReally handy for TPA having arrived from the UK. Rooms are a decent size, however the sofa bed was not made up when we went to our room. Disappointingly when we went down to reception to mention this we were told that we would have to make the bed up ourselves. Never in all of our travels have we ever been told such a rediculous thing. We we challenged this again, the reception staff finally relented and sent housekeeping to make up the bed.

TTài khoản kháchI enjoyed my one night pre-cruise stay. It was nice being on the trolley line because we needed a few things for the cruise and went to Publix. Also the free shuttle to the port was great. Also, the breakfast was plentiful.

TTài khoản khách酒店比較老，正門正在裝修，位置離坦帕機場很近，酒店有接機服務，打個招呼大概5-10分鐘車會來，7-8分鐘到機場。
早餐簡單，但足夠。
旁邊有幾家餐廳，意大利餐廳OliveGarden很推薦，旁邊加油站有24小時超市+賽百味，買東西吃很方便。

TTài khoản kháchI realize that different people have different opinions to the same experiences. I found the room to be very clean and the breakfast to be good. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get into my room when I arrived. There were lots of people in the lobby who were waiting for rooms to be cleaned. All in all, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

TTài khoản kháchWe stopped and stayed here after a trip we were on was extended a day and we had an early flight to catch. Check in was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable and the location was great as it was minutes to the airport, which was great with a 6 am flight with 3 kids and 7 people total. Our only complaint was the laundromat services were only available until 9. We spent the day at the beach and just planned to wash and pack our beach things once we had come back from dinner. Once we got back from dinner the hotel laundromat was about to close. There was a coin mat about mins up the road , so it wasnt the hugest inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have the on site laundromat available 24 hours or even until midnight. We travel for sports a lot and this is the first time we have encountered this.

Check-in was a bit of a hassle, but once we got over a speed bump, everything was fine. I won't go into what happened exactly, but please NOTE: they do NOT accept cash for the deposit or payment. You must have a credit card.. Make sure your card works... and they don't seem to accept Union Pay cards. There isn't any drinkable water in the room, but there is a convenience store two buildings away - super convenient.
The rooms are clean. But, everything is old. The furniture could be quickly restored with some varnish to the furniture, and rustic rugs tossed on the wooden floors. They should consider adding their own line of soaps and hair care products for an element of care and elegance. It'd be nice to have a couple of complimentary bottles of water, as well.
The free shuttle from the airport - go to blue baggage claim and go out one of the blue entry/exit points; either 1 or 2 - at the far ends of the baggage claim corridor. Look for a ”Veterans Limo” van. They come regularly. Just tell the driver where you're going.
Breakfast is great if you love carbs. Unfortunately, no proteins were served. I recommend just adding some scrambled or hard-boiled eggs or turkey bacon and cheeses. You should add more varieties of bagels and bread, as well - especially if you're going to stay carb-centric. Raisin bagels would've been nice.
Thanks for the waffles. Neat, but I would prefer an omlette station.
Overall, I will probably not stay here again, but only because there are so many other options to choose from.
Oh... No offense, but the front desk staff could use some training in customer service and customer care. A couple of them seem to be tired of guests and refer to guests as ”them” and ”they” with a tone of contempt. The staff seems to be falling into a horrible customer care death spiral of ”us” vs. ”them” and seeing ”them” as ”stupid.” Maybe have just a workshop to help staff reaffirm their commitment to the hospitality industry.
Competition won't go away, but customers will.

SSoleilnDelowYou get what you pay for, the staff were friendly and location was great (right by the highway exit to get to everything around, across the street from the fairgrounds) but the cleanliness was awful. The first room they gave us had stains all on the walls, dirty bathroom, really bad patches in the walls and what appeared to be mildew on the curtain. We went to the front desk and requested a new room due to cleanliness. The second room wasn’t immaculate but was much cleaner, didn’t have the microwave and refrigerator which was fine since we were only staying for the weekend. The man upfront was nice and apologized, he mentioned that was the last room available for the selection we made.
