I had a very pleasant stay at Garden Hotel Shizuoka. The location is excellent, with easy access to Shizuoka Station, shopping areas, and plenty of nearby restaurants, which made getting around very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing space after a day of sightseeing. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to rest. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were smooth but one thing that surprised and slightly confused me at first was that the front desk is located on the highest floor rather than the main floor, which is quite uncommon, but it was easy to find once I realized

Một khách sạn mà mọi khía cạnh đều đạt yêu cầu! Đặc biệt, bữa sáng rất ngon và tuyệt vời hơn nữa là trong khách sạn có nhà tắm hơi (suối nước nóng) 😆. Xét về mọi dịch vụ, khách sạn này có vẻ cung cấp giá trị tốt nhất. Tôi muốn sử dụng dịch vụ này lần nữa khi đến Shizuoka lần sau.

Khách sạn nằm ở vị trí thuận tiện gần ga tàu, và có siêu thị mở cửa 24 giờ n*** bên cạnh. Phòng nhỏ nhưng đầy đủ tiện nghi, và bữa sáng rất ngon. Những người đến từ Trung Quốc không quen với ẩm thực Nhật Bản có thể thấy hơi lạ. Ngoài ra còn có máy giặt và máy sấy dùng tiền xu, rất tiện lợi để thay quần áo trong suốt chuyến đi. Nhìn chung, đây là một khách sạn chuỗi rất tiện lợi. 👍🏻

There are only self check in if you come in after 10pm. Instructions were not correct and self check in machine didn't work. There were no phone in the hotel so I have to spend my long distance dial and stood there 30 mins to figure out the check in. Filed a complaint later on and hotel refused to refund. But trip.com was nice enough to send back a reasonable amount of money to compensate my long distance call. Only if you speak Japanese and have a local phone and check in at day time, otherwise not recommended.

Free unlimited alcohol at bar after 6 pm is totally beyond expectation. Room is quite big, with large size bathtub and separated toilet. Very quiet from my experience. The room I stayed does not have a window, not sure if it’s the common case. But I’m ok with that. The location should be considered as the major concern. It’s right beside the interchange of highway, so can be ideal for self-driving trips. However, for travelers by public transportation, you’ll have to use the local bus service, it can take quite a while to figure out how.(For anyone who may read this comment: if you depart from Shizuoka JR station, look for bus No.71 or No.27, and get off at Shizuoka IC stop , which is the closest stop from hotel) Generally I do enjoy the stay, and the nearby region has a lot of restaurants as well as convenient stores, will consider to come back if drive by next time.
