NNick SelvanAs always everything was good from the beginning... the check in till check out. The breakfast which wasn't quite the usual during our last stay there were totally opposite this time... understood there was a face-lift refurbishment work carried out at the restaurant the last time and as such it was excuseable..This time around the hotel had exceeded our expectation for both the service standard and eloborate buffet breakfast readied for the guests. We would like to thank all the restaurant staff in particular the restaurant manager SK Allarakha for making every morning as a start of a pleasant day with all the courteous services extended to us by him and his lovely team..This has prompted my family to celebrate my 60th birthday in the morning of 16/1/2026 before their departure for flight.Thank you for a great and courteous service shown to my family and i.We will definitely choose to stay at the TRT again the next time around. Way2go all... Cheers!

MMalik_ExplorerThe hotel is actually getting outdated with boring interior with fading colors and stripping off hard materials, they should do something about getting rid of birds that pooping on windows and unpleasant views. Exterior obviously can see lots of cracks all over building. Fayaz the front desk guy check in dunno how to smile when welcoming customers. You are saying it’s luxury collection hotel but something you have to work on it. Otherwise competitor will take over.

CCreaKriA budget version of other Taj hotels. The first thing that strikes you is the reception desk is high, so you're forced to stand while checking in, whereas in other 5* hotels, there are seats on either side of a desk. Then there's no porter service, so you're meant to carry your own luggage to your room. The room itself is serviceable, and not up to the Taj mark. One of the closet doors had a loose hinge whose pin fell off. The part of the toilet bowl under water had a permanent yellow film. The hair dryer was a compact one that only had the heat option without cold air drying. That said, the service was quick, efficient and with a smile. The food was good, both breakfast and room service. If you know to expect a marked down experience at a lower cost than its more famous siblings in Chennai, then it's a good bet.

RRnurjanahFor my first trip to India, this hotel was absolutely amazing! Honestly, the hospitality here was the best ever. The staff constantly checked in, asking if we needed anything, especially during breakfast. It was so helpful and made our stay really enjoyable! I'm definitely booking here again if I come back to Chennai.

AAnnaRWHotel looks lovely and on the surface seems like a high quality hotel. But the service was seriously shambolic. They didn't provide hand towels in the room, we had to ask several times for them before they finally appeared. The breakfast was bizarre - noone manning the coffee station but you weren't allowed to serve yourself (it was just a push button machine). No decaffeinated tea or coffee. It took ages to receive the love station food even though the breakfast room wasn't even 1/4 full as we were very early. They agreed to book us a taxi but on reconfirmation they had no record of it, so they tried to persuade us to instead use the hotel charter vehicle for 4x the price! It's a shame, for the price we expected better service and less chaos.

TTài khoản kháchThe staff are welcoming and friendly. The room is clean, and the upkeep is good. There is plenty of choice with relation to breakfast and other meal options. Room service is a little disappointing. I could never reach them, the line always went to reception and they had to connect me. Average wait time even for a simple pot of coffee is 30 minutes. Aside from this, I like my experience at Holiday Inn. I’ll choose to stay there in future too.
