Convenient location in the small town of Yuli. Parking available at the hostel and it is clean and modern. There’s not much to do in the town now that the Yufu bike path is currently closed for renovation, but the hostel is very nice and affordable.

Amazing hotel!!! Brand new (probably that's why there aren't many reviews). Everything is clean and shiny, courteous service and amazing value for money. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!!!

TTài khoản kháchUpdates: I had a great stay at Fullon Hotel Hualien. The room was spacious, comfortable, and has awesome view of the harbor. The location is ideal for me—close to the coast, at the start of the bike trail, and in a peaceful area. I loved being able to borrow a bike from the hotel, making it easy to explore the bike-friendly town.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Even those who didn’t speak English used Google Translate to communicate, which I appreciated. The only downside was difficulty reaching the hotel before my arrival to confirm the station pick-up, which wasn’t sorted out and confirmed until the day before I arrived.
Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel. Most likely will stay here again next time I'm in Hualien. Hopefully, I can reach them easier next time.

2025/01/13: Impossible to contact as a foreign visitor. I tried to send messages to the hotel via both email and LINE that were listed on their website since I don't live in TW. I tried to arrange for their pick up service from Hualien Station which is included with my stay. I have sent my inquiry for the details. I finally managed to get messages back one time via LINE after a day with a website that's not in English and a picture showing only a phone number for booking. At least the hotel didn't ask me to do international phone call and finally said I can request the booking with them via the LINE channel. So I sent the booking request with details. That was 3 days ago. And I have not received any message back or heard a peep from them. So I assume the service is still not booked.
Not that the free ride matters since I should be able to get a cab easily, but the service, especially what's promise and the helpfulness of the staff, is quite underwhelming and on the side of not hospitable.
For the same trip, I also had to reach out to Tango Hotel Taipei. They were very helpful with my inquiry and very fast.
Hopefully the stay is nice. I'll come back to update my review then.

Khách sạn rất sạch sẽ và ngăn nắp, giường cực kỳ thoải mái và nệm và gối có chất lượng cao. Phòng sạch sẽ, sáng sủa và đơn giản, có sẵn tất cả các vật dụng cần thiết. Có một không gian chung ở tầng dưới cũng như đồ ăn nhẹ và đồ uống cà phê miễn phí 24 giờ một ngày. Sẽ xem xét ở lại đây lần sau.

SSam Wei 10Good service and nice room overall. Good Chinese style breakfast. Check in kiosk is used, which is interesting, however still need to go to reception for the breakfast voucher. Location is not the best, 15 minutes walking from Jian train station and pretty much no other public transport nearby. I ordered a taxi from the reception.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
