Station House Lanark Bed and Breakfast

We have visited Alan on quite a few occasions now and his welcome never falters. It's excellent. Always warm and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are furnished to a very high standard with an excellent quality finish. The bed was amazing. The bed linen is outstanding and his towels are the fluffiest ever. And if that's not enough to make you want to go back then his breakfast should do the trick. The nicest Scottish breakfast with the most delicious homemade porridge you could wish for. Non of that microwave stuff! Thank you Alan for another lovely stay. Until next time Sarah & Tim 😊

Station House B & B is excellent. My room was lovely, with a beautiful bathroom and very comfortable bed. (I loved the pretty yellow sheets.) The accommodation is well maintained and of a very high standard in all respects, including Alan's beautiful kitchen and a relaxing guest lounge. Breakfasts were perfectly-cooked & delicious and with a good choice on offer. The hospitality and conversation was like a meeting of friends. The situation is well-placed for access to Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Peebles and is in a peaceful spot. Travelling on my own, I felt welcomed, looked after & safe. Thank you, Alan and Avril, for a wonderful few days. (I'm looking forward to the next instalment of the story, Alan!)

Clean, modern, friendly, met with a smile, great beds, top breakfast, well aportioned rooms. for a last minute find it couldn't have been better, best mid journey stop we have had yet. Will deffinetly 'save' this place and use again in the future

You couldn't find a better place to stay. Such a friendly and welcoming couple. We had a lovely room with lots of little personal touches. We both slept really well. Breakfast was the best we have ever had in a B&B. A great selection of cereals and yoghurt followed by a traditional freshly cooked Scottish breakfast. The sausages in particular were delicious. We were sorry to only stay for one night and will look to visit again.

Had the most amazing week. The rooms are beyond clean and comfortable. Great breakfast with a wide menu choice and flexible times as well. The place is stunning and well sited for access to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Peebles, Lanark and plenty of local walks like Tinto Hill and Clyde Falls. The hosts Alan and Avril are wonderful people and give us great advice on where to good on days out.
