Sandbar is one of the best motels we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are comfortable and the owners make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Each room has the owners personal touches to make your stay just like home. Snacks are provided for a small fee as are drinks. Home made cookies were also provided free on arrival. We’ll certainly come back here next time we’re in the area.

This is a cute little motel with nice personal touches. There were a couple homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting in the room for us and they were delicious. The shower pressure was also pretty good. We were able to walk to the beach and the shops within 10 minutes. Great place to stay

I was super impressed with the extra thoughtful touches that were provided in the room (including homemade cookies, a basket of well priced snacks, & some free little items to take if desired), to help make our stay a comfortable and memorable one.

The room we stayed in was comfortable and welcoming, with a lot of nice 'creature comforts' added. Nespresso coffee machine/pods, bowls/plates, cutlery, microwave, toaster, bathroom extras. Fresh baked biscuits & some choccies on arrival. Fresh milk (Not UHT!) lots of pillows and more. Hosts were attentive. Had a minor medical issue - they were ready to assist, within their means (Thank you!)

It was all the little things that made our stay at the Sandbar Motel so special. The homemade welcome cookies waiting for us in our room, were delicious. Although no meals are provided by the motel, there were more than adequate supplies of crockery and cutlery (even chopsticks!). So we were able to take care of our own breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot. The location is good , so close to the beach and many great eating spots.

A modernised older style motel , well decorated with lots of special detail. Very comfortable room and small welcoming touches . Located on the edge of the lake with pleasant walking tracks nearby and an easy walk to cafes and restaurants Highly recommended.

Without a doubt the best service I've ever received from any accomodation. Super helpful when we needed to change the dates last minute and gave brilliant advice for the things to do in the area. Would recommend to absolute anyone! Great location and lovely people!

One of the nicest motels we have stayed in. The Manager, Santo was so helpful in suggesting places to eat etc. it was such a delight to open the door & see chocolates on the bed and as for those bed sheets, so cosy. Even the bathroom had a special hair towel. The added details to the room were just perfect and so clean.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location, an easy walk to bar & restaurants. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, and quiet for sleeping. A walkway across the road was lovely along the water. Reasonably-priced motel, we would be happy to stay again.
