We have now stayed at Posta Vecchia three times - twice in the past two weeks. It is the perfect spot to stay when flying in and out of Rome FCO airport...only 30 minutes. And if you want to run into the city (we did), they can arrange a driver. It's a relatively small yet regal property. It feels wholly authentic (there's even a museum in the basement. We've stayed in the Olive Suite, Tower Room (attic level) and the Duke's Room. Honestly, they have all been lovely. There are so many great spots to sit and perch around the property, I didn't find us in our room all that much. Great sunning terrace overlooking the sea adjacent to the indoor pool. They also set up a beach area during the summer. Restaurant was great for dinner and a treat at breakfast. The service is quiet but great. When I saw their new tennis court, I asked the concierge to boom me a session and they found me a trainer for the next day - good lesson too! Our last night, we were exhausted and asked they served us dinner in the library, which they did and it was fabulous and relaxing. Francesco in the bar makes a mean negroni.
