Grand Hotel Terme di Augusto

30 years ago, it was a stately and impressive 5-star hotel with generous common areas, beautiful restaurants, impressive spa facilities, a large indoor hot water pool and a lovely, wonderfully heated, great swimming pool in the garden, as well as an inviting roof terrace with sea views. Over time, the last star has faded significantly. There are still the beautiful surroundings, but the hotel is strongly characterized by an incompetent and uncommitted management, who are indifferent to the unprofessional reception, where the guests' inquiries are annoying interruptions and inconvenience. The keys are often left freely available to anyone in an empty reception. Construction waste and clutter in front of guests' balconies and in common areas. A whole week's stay with dinner shows that the restaurant regularly fluctuates from delicious and good, to downright unsuccessful. In addition, there are so many places where you could improve the guests' experience of the place very significantly with small funds and a targeted effort. It leaves the impression that because the guests are just pensioners on package tours, they just continue the mediocre routine and do not bother to take advantage of the many opportunities that are immediately available.

PER NON PARLARE DELL'OTTIMO CIBO SIA A PRANZO CHE A CENA. DOVEROSAMENTE, DEVO NOMINARE IL DIRETTORE DI SALA, SIG. GIOVANNI , OTTIMO COMUNICATORE E DILIGENTE OSSERVATORE , SEMPRE PRONTO AD ASSECONDARE, NEL POSSIBILE, LE ESIGENZE DEL CLIENTE NON DISDEGNANDO LA BATTUTA COMICA , TRASMETTENDO ALLEGRIA E POSITIVITA' AL NOSTRO GRUPPO DI AMICI, NATURALMENTE COADIUVATO DAL SUO SECONDO, IL SIMPATICO E BRAVISSIMO UMBERTO. SERATE MUSICALI MOLTO GRADITE , CHE CI HANNO FATTO ANCHE BALLARE!!! UN POSITIVO E INDIMENTICABILE SOGGIORNO!!! QUALITA' E PREZZO IN GIUSTA MISURA. CONSIGLIABILE A TUTTE LE ETA'. CI TORNEREMO...GRAZIE

Nice hotel, we stayed here for 4 nights and had no complaints. All the staff was friendly and helpful especially the pool attendant, who both AM and PM came around to make sure everyone was happy. The hotel is perfectly situated to explore the small village which is one of the nicest villages I have ever visited.

dilapidated structure, old and ruined rooms, cockroaches and no air conditioning during the night hours, spas not to be recommended, a marsh would have been cleaner, noisier during the night ,basic continental breakfast ,the stuffs was decent by god grace,not raccomanded at all ,you should find better place at a better price too.

Poor food and wine. Food normalt cold. Lack of staff and only italian speaking. Bad smell in eating room. Most of 41 friends got Corona. Noisy road less than 00 meters away. Expect loud music until midnight.

Hotel datato e sporco Arrivati in camera notavo capelli dappertutto, può capitare, il giorno dopo nonostante le pulizie ,svuotato solo il cestino,mi recavo alla reception che invece di verificare e risolvere mi facevano domande tipo avete un cane o se le pulizie erano state fatte . Se non lo sapete voi bha Nessuno è venuto a controllare o pulire Personale in sala ristorante veloce e premuroso Cibo da mensa State alla larga

L'hotel ha una bella posizione le piscine sono bellissime e pulite,il personale sempre gentile ,i cibi accurati e di grande qualità. Ringrazio per la gentilezza il personale è in particolare il signor. Di Leo Leonardo e tutti i camerieri.

Hotel 5 stelle validissimo per svariati motivi . Posizione strategica , cibo buono e vario , ottimo reparto termale . Staff gentile e disponibile . Il maitre Giovanni un signore di altri tempi cortese, gentile e professionale oltremodo . Torneremo sicuramente.
