L'Aquarelle - Camping

It wasn't the best experience as it immediately followed extremely heavy rain, but they had a good-sized semi-hardstanding emplacement at the top of the slope that we were shown to by a staff member. The receptionist was very pleasant and spoke good English. The camp was securely protected; there was security code access and a perimeter fence. Consequently the only way to reach the adjacent lake and restaurant was to exit the camp. When walking around the camp, we followed a sign to a walkway from the lower to upper levels but ended up at the top of some steps in a field of long grass and no sign of where a path might have been. The swimming pool water was a dirty green. However, it is possible that we were too early in the season [4th week in June] or that its filtration system had failed due to the heavy rains. There was a water tap by our emplacement but we couldn't get it to work. Fortunately there was another a short distance away. There didn't seem to be enough toilets available and a small queue developed in the morning. despite not being high season. Just one ladies, one gents and one disabled available in each block [no separate areas for ladies / gents, just that each cubicle was allocated ladies or gents or disabled. Toilet paper and toilet seats were in place , the equipment was modern and there was handwashing soap in one block. We were told that there was no hot water in the block nearest us but thankfully there was and so had a good shower.

Accueil mitigé , camping fermé. Le gardien nous a gentiment proposé de nous arrêter sur le site , afin d’être plus en sécurité. Nous avons profité de ce très gentil geste… la place 11 est très bien, pour les camping-cars souhaitant profiter du calme et de la nature environnante. Nous recommandons.

Site à proximité direct de la tour de bridier, feu d’artifice, génial. Piscine petite , très propre. Accueil et équipe agréable. Je recommande a 100% pour les personnes recherchant le calme . Le plus , centre ville a 15 minute à pied. Un grand merci à Julien pour le chargeur.
