How do you start to give an honest opinion of a holiday resort ? Honesty is the best policy ,so here goes. My wife and I visited the Bahiazul Resort based on reviews we had read and the photos previous visitors had posted. Did it reach the high marks the reviews gave it? Absolutely, from arriving slightly apprehensive, we were immediately put at ease by the reception staff and welcomed with a glass of prosecco, check in took ten minutes, and off we went to our Garden villa, the villa was immaculately clean ,had a comfortable lounge area, fully equipped kitchen and washroom with washing machine,a large bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Outside, we had a swimming pool, hot tub, and lots of loungers and chairs plus a barbecue area. The resort is a gated community manned 24/7 by the pleasant guys on security and is kept immaculate. The roads and paths are really clean and tidy, and the gardens are worked on every day by the team of dedicated gardeners ,that also goes for the other staff we came into touch with, the villa cleaning staff are very attentive and even the pool guy ,who came over once a week had a smile on his face. That's the big winning point at Bahiazul, the staff, the waiters in the dining room,( where the wonderful breakfasts are a great start to a day, buffet style hot and cold with an excellent selection and also the evening meals which were second to non in there quality and variation ) oh yes!!! The waiters, the floor managers, who greeted you as you checked in for your table, all efficient and happy to make your dining experience a pleasure. I hope I haven't left anyone out in my praise for all who work there but I want to give a big shout out to a few people who we had immediate contact with, to Rosa who ran the evening bar with the happy hour and snack meals, thank you for being so eager to assist with a lovely attitude and spending time to chat with customers like ourselves, and the biggest thank you to two guys who sum up the ethics of the resort in their attitude to make the visitors holiday experience a marvellous one. Mr Ian Maurer, reception manager, we had an issue l, which I drew Ians attention to while we were there, not a problem, he approached it with care and a can do attitude and resolved it with an outcome that was satisfactory for us,Ian was like this in his attention to how he went about his work, like talking to someone you know, who wants you to be satisfied and happy, and secondly Mr Pascal Desloovere in charge of Guest relations, there by Ians side when needed, what a great team, most days Pascal welcomes you into the restaurant with a smile and short chat but if you have anything that requires attention elsewhere he's also the go to guy, both are now regarded as my friends,it's that kind of place. So, I guess after reading this epic review, you will already have guessed that, yes! We loved the Bahiazul so much that we are already planning to go back in 2025. If I had one tiny reservation,if you want to get around
