Above and Beyond February 2025/7 days , weather dull and cool/ but missed the worst We were happily surprised by our stay at the Bristol. Very handily positioned opposite the long park and the old Town and sea. The guests were international in selection with many Spanish and other Europeans. This lent a more sophisticated ambiance than if it was just British. The Hotel was kept spotless as were Benidorm streets , putting our sordid country to shame. The staff were professional with the Front Desk helping with queries. The evening entertainment was varied and fun. Food very good with more than enough choice for all tastes. The themed nights were excellent. I must mention the good value in drinks at the Restaurant. My usual gripe is about the sloppy dress of some visitors at dinner. There were beach shorts, cropped tops and vests. Even men insisted on wearing caps and flip flops. The Spanish older folk were impeccably dress as would be expected. it is not stuffy but at dinner one expects a certain smartness, this in respect of the other patrons and staff. We had a 4th floor room with Town View almost parallel with the Main street. Do specify this when bookig. We had single beds pushed together. One can specify a double I feel.
