We found this place absolutely amazing : Very friendly and helpful staff, the room (standard) was very charming, spacious and well equipped, the food, homemade style but refined, is delicious , you wake up to a fantastic breakfast, and all the time you look out onto breathtaking views and grounds. Recommend to ask for a brandy after dinner.

I have just returned from this fabulous hotel. The surrounding area is magnificent so beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay. I came to the area in a view to move to just outside Antequerra. A must to stay here for the peaceful and tranquil hotel.

It was a wonderful place to stay and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was amazing.

Having paid a visit to the hotel for a drink, we were unaware that a private wedding was booked. We were made to feel uncomfortable having been asked to move to another terrace even though we had no intention of staying. The manager sent a member of staff out to speak to us twice. We rushed are drink and left. I would suggest that a sign be displayed that a private function was taking place, simple.

Just returned from a wedding...such a picturesque venue...the service here is so attentive, staff are fantastic and so obliging - food is delicious & tasty Highly recommend - even for a weekend away!!

Why do we give the lowest recomendation. 1. Shooking bad customer service. 2. Food quality extremely disappointing. 3. Poorly staffed. We had paid totaly aprox € 30 000 for this big event, to Celebrate our wedding. 1. Based on our total experience we discussed a discount on the exceptionely bad quality on the gala menu. Two of the four disshes where not eatable. The fish was cold and cooked dry, and the dessert had been poorly prepered an the chocolate croccetes where cold. We sat down with Sara and Fatima who was incharge. At first they did not see our problem. After a while they called the owner, and they offered a small discount. Which we felt was not comparable with the huge dissapoin**ent regarding the gala menu. We where told that they whould offer a better discount which we eccepted. When we where paying the final build, suddenly 3 cars and 6 police officers from Guardia Civil turned up. They where shouting and extremely hostile. Now we where told that we was not getting the discount anyway. Our old family members that where still in the hotel started to cry and got a terrible experience. The policemen where shouting out our names and they where taking copys of our passports and agressivly behaviour. This episode mentioned above was a exceptionell abuse of power and felt like some «mafia» stuff- like the owner was the one controlling the police. 2. We had booked the hole hotel and some of the guests stayed for one week. We experience the food quality as very varying. Depending on who and how many people that are working- the quality of the food has a range from 1-4 on the dice. They do not staff the kitchen with professionell cooks. But the price they charge is What you expect from profesionels. 3. At Breakfast there is only one person working that is supposed to serve 42 guests. During day time there is only one person that is charge of serving cold drinks, food etc. It goes without saying that this means a lot of waiting time. They even take an extra five euros charge if they serve us by the pool. Often it whould take 30-60 min to get food and drinks served. When we now in retro perspective read the reviews carefully, it seams that they have not learned a lot for the past 10 years. The same problems appear even in 2012.

Location, service, ambience and food are absolutely fantastic. We had lunch as part of the preparation for my daughter’s wedding next year. Because of COVID, she’d taken a chance and booked the venue online so she was quite nervous to visit for the first time. It exceeded our expectations in every respect. The rooms are beautiful with every one slightly different. There are lots of places to sit and relax. And the food! Wonderful flavours and presentation and great twists on traditional Spanish dishes. Mari-Carmen looked after us so well - warm and attentive without being intrusive and talked us through the different dishes. Everyone we met was very friendly and, in terms of wedding planning, very helpful. Fatima has recommended local suppliers and talked my daughter and her fiancée through options. As a family, we feel that we are in safe hands for such an important occasion.

Cuarta vez que me hospedo en este hotel, la tercera vez tuvimos un problema en el desayuno. Tenían mermelada caducada y con moho, ... Al final, decidimos volver a darles una oportunidad, cogimos el bungalows, ( el único que hay en este hotel). 225€ la noche!!!! Pues nos quedamos durante un rato sin agua, se suponíaque eran cortes de agua. Pues no tuvimos suficiente, que el agua caliente se iba y venía... ( no sabían cuál era el problema del agua caliente)... Después dijeron que era un manguito roto... Y, la sorpresa fue la del recepcionista,al llamarlo... Muy poco competente, poco empático y un poco borde. Lo ( quiso arreglar ) con una invitación. Este hotel ha perdido muchas cualidades y calidades.
