Casa de Leela Self Catering Guest House

We stayed in the two bedroom bungalow. It was big with two big bedrooms and two bathrooms. And the best of all the enormous cozy terrace. And a few meters from the terrace there is a pool. The staff at the reception are great! Especially thanks to Stella, she’s very kind and would help you with everything. Recommend that you rent bikes and explore this beautiful island.

Cannot recommend enough , tucked away , a little slice of paradise. Lots of private areas and a choice of 3 pools. The wildlife is stunning fruit bats, brightly coloured birds, tortoise, sea turtles, sharks, fish, geckos and lizards. The staff are so friendly and accommodating.

My family and I recently had a distressing experience with this hotel, which I feel compelled to share. We had to cancel our reservation due to an emergency hospitalization of our 8-year-old son. We requested to reschedule our stay for a few days in September, as we were unable to travel on the original dates. Despite our unfortunate circumstances, the hotel management was inflexible and refused our request, stating that reservations could only be rescheduled until June. To add insult to injury, they offered a mere 10% discount on a new reservation for September, which is hardly a consolation when they had already pocketed our 826 euros without providing any service. For context, this amount represents a month's hard-earned salary for us in Portugal. Their lack of empathy and rigid policy have left us feeling incredibly disappointed and frustrated. I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider booking with this hotel. Their unwillingness to accommodate us in a time of crisis shows a profound lack of compassion and customer care. Save yourself the potential heartache and look elsewhere for a more understanding and flexible accommodation.

We absolutely loved our little self catering villa at Casa de Leela! Lovely clean villa with everything we needed. Beautiful gardens & pool areas, so many little birds & flowers. Staff were so kind & friendly. Quiet location, easy to get to & little supermarket near by. Just wish we had more than 2 nights on La Digue! Definitely recommend Casa de Leela & would definitely stay again!

Fabulous place to stay on La Digue. Quiet location, friendly and helpful staff, well equipped apartments and very comfortable beds. A perfect location for exploring the delightful island of La Digue.

We stayed in the large, family friendly, bungalow house Maison d'amour. We were positively surprised to see that we had our own small plunge pool, a garden and generous space. Very friendly staff. The guys working with about anything and everything were always smiling, happy with our kids too.
