An absolute must-stay for maximum indulgence and relaxation. Love the private onsen spa! It's a delightful stay with a marvelous location.

We loved our stay at Hotel the Mitsui. Super nice and zen design . Absolutely adore their lobby area, which I think is designed by Andre Fu. Always drawn into his work somehow. Breakfast food was okay, but the view really made up everything l. Super relaxing & beautiful Service was great. Most of them were able to speak English proficiently. There’s a thermal spring at their basement, which you have to call the reception before you go to ensure there’s enough space. Everything was well prepared, including swimwear, disposable underpants, towels, water, etc. Since they control the # of people, everyone has their own space and it still feels very private. Room is nice with many details. Love their huge selection of pillows available for guests. It’s not huge, but the space is well used. Location wise, I wouldn’t say it’s the most convenient, but if you take a cab, everything is reachable in 20 mins max, so it’s not too bad. There are still good restaurants and touristy places to go that are in walkable distance, so it’s not middle of nowhere. Overall, fantastic experience which I will recommend for others!

Wonderful stay, the design/interior is confortable, breakfast is great, service is very good. The spa was also nice with the thermal bath. We really enjoyed also the shower in the bathroom. Japanese breakfast was also nice. Overall a good experience, we had a room facing the street which was not ideal, I would recommend to book a room facing the garden or the castle.

非常舒適的一間酒店，高級、乾淨、地點幽靜，是一個想櫻花入住的好地方。下一次再來，一定會再book這一間酒店。

酒店的SPA不是傳統的日式温泉，是需要穿泳衣的男女混湯，沒感受到日式地道的泡湯還是有些去失望，其他設施還可以，中規中矩。酒店的法餐味道也是中規中矩 談不上驚艷

整體是全球著名設計師Andrefu的作品，酒店每個角落都是一處精緻的設計藝術品，無論是建築外觀還是細節 ，功能 ，創意都超出了我預期。非常值得推薦和珍藏的寶藏酒店。 設施：有創意設計新穎別緻 衞生：井然有序 乾淨清爽 環境：日式園林典範結合現代建築設計理念精心雕琢。 服務：熱情洋溢 協助我購買島琵琶湖的煙花V IP進場票，非常高興。

環境舒服，房間略小。早餐非常喜歡。

房間還是很舒適的，就是酒店的SPA是男女混用的，雖然有泳衣出借，但是還是覺得不太方便。另外這次去日本忘記帶信用卡，酒店房費因為預訂的時候已經付款過了，但是用餐等其他消費衹能用現金或銀行卡，不支持付款寶和微信不太方便。服務人員都很熱情周到，早餐不錯。
