Reasonable prices with easy access to the bus stop. Nice decorations.

We booked luxury room, but the staff only provided standard room. Also, location is quite inconvenient and it took at least 15mins to walk from station. We have paid in advance for hotel tax in trip.com, but the staff kept asking the evidence from us which does not show the friendly and welcoming. It is disappointing booking.

While the location is slightly north of central Kyoto, requiring some extra travel time to reach the main tourist areas, I found this to be a blessing in disguise. The hotel's proximity to the serene Kyoto Imperial Palace Gardens (Kyoto Gyoen) offers guests a peaceful retreat from the city's bustle. The quiet neighborhood perfectly captures the traditional atmosphere of Kyoto. One particularly interesting aspect is the hotel's ninja theme. For enthusiasts of Japanese ninja culture, this adds an exciting and unique dimension to the stay. The themed elements throughout the property create an engaging experience that sets it apart from standard hotels.
