Front desk reception staff were super helpful with a high level of English speaking language. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean. The location is perfect near the shopping street, river and temple all within walking distance. Breakfast was simple but very nice and refreshing. Each night coming back from the long walks we could enjoy free juice, coffee and tea which was very relaxing. A very nice hotel which I'd thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto.

Amazing location, central but tucked away from the busy street so very quiet at night. Beautiful - big for Japan standards - rooms and squeaky clean! Hotel provides lovely bath salt as part of service package that helps you relax at the end of a long day :)

The service is very attentive! The room is quite clean but a bit warm. It’s very easy to get there by bus. Very valuable!

The hotel is small and quiet from the crowding shopping center. Hence, the location is a bit far (15 min walk)from the train station and other restaurants. The room is ok, small but clean. Everything is given when you pick up your toiletries at the check in. The staff are very friendly and helpful even English is not exceptional but all of them are kind and polite. Only one thing I don’t understand is they don’t put a phone in the room so every time I have question I need to go to the elevator to call the front office. Also, I would wish they could put a bit more lighting equipment in the room. After sunset, it is dark in the room. Breakfast you need to reserved a day advanced. There is a convenient store next to it. It is a limited service hotel but it is very nice for business travel or simple couple, backpackers, or even family.

Nice hotel. The room is quite big than other hotels that I booked. This room type has bathtub room and separate toilet. I impressed with everything. The stuff is helpful and guide us to use laundry machines.

Good location :) Small but very clean and organised room. Good value for money. Staff were very nice and helpful. There is a hostel opposite the hotel which has a cafe/bar - good for socialising and meeting new people!
