Demani Lodge Zanzibar

Nice staff. Housekeepers and waiters was kind and friendly. Good location very close the beach. The hotel is located in a beautiful environment. I stayed 1 month here. The kitchen is very good! They make delicious meals!

I was enjoying my staying at Demani Lodge a lot. The best thing was very good vibe & service and super friendly staff. I also enjoyed the simple small cottage where I was staying. It had nice small balcony and view to garden, which had a bit of jungle vibe. All the shared toilets, showers and everything else was very clean. The only small minus is that it´s not on the beach but in the end it didn´t really matter, because it´s about 5 minute walk to the closest beach. There is also nice area for hanging at pool.

I stayed two nights in the private bungalow. I chose Demani because of the pool, mostly! There was a thunderstorm that caused the whole of Zanzibar to lose power the first night and it was so nice to see how the guests were able to create a party on their own. We went to sleep earlier but we had a peaceful rest while the rest of the guests continued to make a party regardless of the circumstances. The best things about this hostel are the kind staff, the professionalism in the way it is managed, and the food. The food is super tasty and fairly priced. I stayed in Nungwi for 2 weeks but found the food in Paje to overall be much yummier. This hostel has a great chef. It's also all local cuisine mostly, which I love. I don't go to another country to eat European cuisine, that is so basic. :')

Our stay was ok, the locationbis wat bothered us most.....road noise plus on a Thursday they do a party till 05:00 in the morning with terrible loud music which makes it imposible to sleep. Staff was friendly, food was nice. The place is nice but it misses some vibe.

I liked the ambience of the place, good vibes. Pool area is super nice. The staff is very helpful and supportive. Food in restaurant is delicious. Prepare to nice walks at beautiful beach to reach the village!

You feel very at home at Demani lodge. The Staff is super nice & the food is very good. Also very good for a day to chill. I would go there definitely again. Every Thursday there is a BBQ and Party wich is very fun to join

On family vacation, 5 people in total, sleeping in two separate huts. Very friendly and helpful staff and manager, good breakfast, delicious fruit juices as part of it. Quiet as it was low season (wet season and ramadan), which suited us well. Bar and restaurant open all day and night, and with good selection of food and drinks. It's a good place. Clean environment Nice food Charming staffs I love everything about about the place but but what I miss is you need a few minutes walk to Beach But in short the hotel is Superb. ❤️❤️❤️

An awesome place to stay. Affordable. Clean. Good food. Very friendly owner gave good advice on places to visit and arranged for taxis. Great swimming pool. Met some lovely travellers there. The closest beach is a long walk away and very dirty. It's worth walking further up to the busier part. Don't even think of swimming at low tide, you'll have to walk more than a km to reach the water.
