ibis Styles Kununurra

It is located centrally and convenient 5-10 min walk to Coles / shops and cafes .The staff for very welcoming to us, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable even delivering us to our second (but first booked hotel ) . We needed one extra, earlier night in Kununurra but our other pre booked hotel was full. The rooms are very spacious, modern and our beds comfortable, great air conditioning and though we didn’t get to eat there - the Restaurant menu was extraordinary. It’s undergoing renovations but it didn’t disrupt anything .

A brilliant quiet oasis. All rooms have been refurbished and are modern clean and comfortable. Looking forward to seeing the hotel when it’s completed in full. Staff are super friendly and accommodating, thanks to Narelle and Dean for accommodating us under last minute notice.

Had 2 nights at the Cambridge.. Dean and his friendly team could not do enough for us .. although hotel under renovations new rooms are excellent.. we ate at the restaurant a few times and could not fault the food … Thankyou for a great stay .. highly recommend …

Highly recommended for a lot of reasons. Reasonably priced, free transfers to and/or from the airport, clean, comfortable and modern rooms, quiet location and onsite restaurant. Short walk to the shops or over to the pub for dinner. Secure and gated. The staff were amazing. I fluffed around with my booking a bit but they were very patient, and they really couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Probably need to be aware that the hotel is currently being upgraded so there’s a lot of construction going on and no pool at this point. This didn’t impact us at all - although we stayed on weekends so no construction noise. Great place for an overnight or short stay.

People are the greatest asset for any organisation. Staff at the Cambridge are always smiling and happy to help. We stayed in one of the many rooms that has recently been renovated. It has been done well. Many rooms still await renovation. The breakfast is excellent with options for everyone.

Very friendly and helpful staff, check in simple and quick. We weee just looking for a place to sleep mid trip and this was a room at a very reasonable price and good value for money. Very clean and tidy and parking right in front of room. Nice amenities. Overall I’d recommend and will definitely stay again next time.

We were on a tour with 25 people and when we arrived we were greeted by a very happy receptionist I am told was called Narelle. She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and service was fantastic. We were there for the wonderful buffet dinner and although it was expensive at $65 it was well worth it. The hotel was undergoing renovations and there were work men around but it did not interfere with our enjoyment. Thank you.

We stayed at The Cambridge for 6 nights. We were in a newly renovated room. The room was large (at least 1.5 the size of a usual hotel room), with a comfortable King + size bed, and flat screen tv. Our room was peaceful (maybe due to being the furtherest away from the main roads on both sides of property). We appreciated the availability of a laundry on-site. Unfortunately during our stay, the on-site restaurant was closed (chef had Covid). This created challenges as most restaurants in the town, including the pub aka The Kununurra Hotel, are attached to accommodation. Many establishments have signs refusing service to anyone but in-house guests. We twice had to plead a special case to be served! Given the short-staffing in town, perhaps The Cambridge could make some cooking facilities available such as s bar-b-que or a couple of micro-wave ovens, in such emergency conditions. Still had a wonderful time. Thanks to the staff for their warm hospitality.

A change from where our group was originally expected to stay, but it worked well. A good, convenient and quiet location in the town. All rooms are a very short walk from reception and dining. The rooms were more than adequate in terms of size and facilities. There was plenty of convenient parking. The food was good but not haute cuisine. The service was also pleasant.
